Format:

12 teams, each plays the others twice - home and away - for a total of 22 games each, over 22 game weeks.



Scoring points:

3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.



Table order:

1. points won; 2. play-off (only for deciding next round group allocation); 3. points in head-to-head matches; 4. goal difference in hth matches; 5. goals scored in hth matches; 6. total goal difference; 7. total goals scored.



Qualification for 2nd Phase:

1-12 place: enter 2nd Phase

2nd Phase:

Format:

12 teams from the Regular Season contest the 2014/2015 Premier League champion; places in the 2015/2016 UEFA Champions League and 2015/2016 UEFA Europa League; and against relegation in a league format.

Each team plays the others once - for a total of 11 games each, over 11 game weeks.

Teams start the 2nd Phase with their points from the Regular Season halved, rounded upwards; and keep the rest of their Regular Season record going into the Championship Round.

The Championship Round winner is the 2014/2015 Premier League champion.



Scoring points:

3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.



Table order:

1 place: 2015/2016 UEFA Champions League qualifiers

2-3 place: 2015/2016 UEFA Europa League qualifiers

4 place: possible 2015/2016 UEFA Europa League qualifiers (depends on FA Trophy outcome)



Relegation from the league:

10 place: enters Play-offs 1/2 with one First Division team for 1 place in 2015/2016 Premier League

11-12 place: relegated to 2015/2016 First Division



Promotion to the league:

2 teams from 2014/2015 First Division

1 more team from 2014/2015 First Division possible to promote through Play-offs 1/2



UEFA competitions qualifiers:

2015/2016 UEFA Champions League - 2nd Qualifying Round: Hibernians (as champion)

2015/2016 UEFA Europa League - 1st Qualifying Round: Birkirkara (3rd, as FA Trophy winner), Valletta (as 2nd) and Balzan (as 4th)
