90' +7 A. Romagnoli (G) (assist by: Suso)

Minute   Description
That concludes our commentary of the fixture between Udinese and Milan! We hope you’ve enjoyed it!
Udinese will need to rebound next Sunday when they travel to Empoli, while Milan face Betis in Spain on Thursday in the Europa League.
90'+7 Romagnoli is shown a yellow card for taking his shirt off in celebration.
Suso is awarded the assist as it was his pass which set Romagnoli up for the shot!
ROMAGNOLI WINS IT FOR MILAN! LATE DRAMA AT THE DACIA ARENA! Romagnoli wins the ball in midfield and Suso then sprays it ahead for Cutrone, who cuts it back towards the penalty spot. After a brief spell of one-touch passing in the Udinese penalty area, the captain finally smashes his shot into the roof of the net! The linesman originally flags for offside as Cutrone appeared to receive the pass ahead of the last defender, but VAR clears up the question immediately and awards the goal! Incredible!
90'+5 NUYTINCK SENT OFF! The referee makes his mind up immediately and sends off the Udinese substitute for a cycnical rake down the calf of Castillejo. There appeared to be no intent to play the ball there, and the match official looks to have made the right call!
90'+2 De Paul is taken off for D’Alessandro as Velazquez looks to make a change in the late stages.
Abate receives a pass from Suso on the right-hand side and swings in a cross which finds Bakayoko who pops the ball straight up in the air with his head, allowing the Udinese goalkeeper to make a leaping catch.
90' The fourth official indicates an additional five minutes at the end of the match for stoppages.
88' As the match winds to a close, it doesn’t look like either team will find the back of the net. It’s been a very poor showing from both sides – who can at least claim a clean sheet each if it stays like this.
86' Udinese take a corner short and it’s promptly sent towards the far post for Opoku, but Romagnoli is there to put his opposite centre-back off. The home fans are appealing for a second corner-kick, but the referee hasn’t seen the final touch which came off the Milan captain.
84' It’s a double substitution, as Pussetto is also called off for Balic.
Ter Avest is removed as he is unable to play on through the cramps. Nuytinck is his replacement.
82' Ter Avest is on the pitch receiving treatment for cramp, but Milan players are protesting that he is wasting time. The stretcher finally comes onto the playing surface, and a change is finally ready on the touchline.
80' Samir hobbles back onto the pitch to take his place in defence, but he is limping quite badly. He may just be on the pitch long enough for Udinese to organise a substitution.
78' Samir remains on the ground after losing the ball in midfield as he receives treatment on what appears to be his ankle.
77' MILAN SHOULD BE AHEAD AGAIN! Borini wins the ball from Samir in midfield and he finds Cutrone in the penalty area. The striker buys himself some time before cutting it back for Castillejo – whose shot is aimed directly at the goalkeeper. That’s a poor waste of a wonderful opportunity!
75' Milan are building around the Udinese penalty area but Suso is unable to hold off a challenge and he goes down, though the referee decides against giving the Rossoneri a free-kick.
73' Gattuso looks to affect the match from the bench as Laxalt comes off for Borini.
72' Castillejo is on the ball in midfield, looking for somewhere to go, but none of his team-mates are entering space to receive a pass. It’s very lacklustre from Milan who gift Udinese a goal-kick after Rodriguez loses possession on the flank.
70' Pussetto, who won a free-kick only moments ago is shown a yellow card of his own for pushing Castillejo down. It’s another set-piece for Milan inside their own half.
Udinese take the free-kick long, into the Milan penalty area but the referee doesn’t allow the home side any time to attack it, as he blows his whistle for a handball. The Rossoneri have a set-piece with which to clear their lines.
68' Pussetto goes down after being nudged by Zapata during an Udinese counter-attack. After going down, the Udinese player takes the centre-back’s studs to his head, which looks extremely painful. A yellow card is shown to the Colombia international.
64' Troost-Ekong is shown a yellow card after the penalty shouts, as he came across for words with Cutrone after the incident.
63' CUTRONE PENALTY DENIED! Bakayoko slips a leading pass through the defence into the penalty area for Cutrone, and Opoku comes across and blocks his path, sending the striker to ground. The referee immediately denies the claims, however, infuriating the Milan forward.
60' SUSO WASTES A GOLDEN CHANCE! Oh, it should really be 1-0 Milan after an incredible run by Castillejo, which sees him get past three players and hold off a number of challenges as he makes his way into the penalty area on the left-hand side. He looks up and sees Suso streaming in and tees him up perfectly with a weighted pass onto his left foot. The right-winger takes a strike, but it balloons horribly high – and he can't believe it!
58' CASTILLEJO FORCES A GREAT SAVE! The former Villareal midfielder has enough room to swing his left foot towards goal, forcing the Udinese keeper to make a fantastic diving save! It’s now Milan’s turn to attack!
54' Pussetto tees up De Paul outside the penalty area on the left, but instead of putting in a cross, the forward opts to have a strike on goal which bounces perfectly in front of Donnarumma for an easy grab.
52' A corner is taken into the Milan penalty area but Romagnoli outmuscles his man at the back post and heads the ball clear. Udinese have been the better side to start the second half, and are putting their opponents under a lot of pressure.
50' Milan get the defending on the free-kick horribly wrong, but they are able to scramble it away at the last for a corner-kick. The ensuing set-piece is taken towards the six-yard box where Donnarumma makes a mess of the save after being clattered into, but once again the Rossoneri are able to get it away.
48' De Paul is rolling on the ground in pain as Kessie steps on his ankle from behind. It’s a painful challenge, though perhaps not intentional. Either way – it’s a yellow card for the Milan player.
Milan turn the ball over in midfield and Udinese hit on a counter-attack which ends as a throughball for Lasagna is hit with too much power and Donnarumma is off his line smartly to make the save.
46' Udinese get the second half underway from the kick-off!
Neither side is truly in the ascendancy, though Udinese were certainly growing in confidence towards the end of the first half. The Udinese wingers in Udinese’s three centre-back formation did well to expose the Milan flanks – which could play more and more into Velazquez’s strategy as Abate and Rodriguez’s legs begin to tire.
It’s been a first half of relatively little intrigue, as both sides have had a handful of half-chances, but nothing worthy of getting you out of your seat. Suso’s wonderful left-foot strike and Ter Avest’s ultimately wide shot were the picks of either side, though Donnarumma and Musso would have been disappointed to be beaten by those opportunities. There is reason for Gattuso to be slightly concerned, however, as it seems Milan have not gotten into rhythm, with Higuain’s injury doing them no favours.
45' The fourth official indicates an additional three minutes at the end of the first half for stoppages.
41' Fofana is dangerous in possession again as he rounds Laxalt before getting into the area and cutting a pass back for De Paul – however, the striker is not anticipating the service and he is caught flat-footed, allowing Milan to clear.
39' ZAPATA WITH A CRUCIAL BLOCK! Fofana’s cross finds Pussetto inside the penalty area, but his volley is blocked by a sliding Zapata who throws his entire body in the way to ensure it doesn’t get to Donnarumma.
37' Pussetto gets by Abate and breaks into the penalty area but the referee calls play back as the Udinese player allowed the ball to go out of bounds before embarking on his run.
35' Gattuso sends an attacking midfielder on to replace Higuain, as Castillejo is his chosen replacement.
32' Play is stopped again, as this time Zapata is requiring treatment. The centre-back picked up the injury after going into a sliding tackle on Lasagna and catching the striker’s knee with his face. That looked quite nasty.
30' Suso goes to the near post where it’s immediately rebuffed by Lasagna, though his clearing header goes right back to the winger. His second delivery is to the far post for Cutrone, but it’s a wayward cross that goes out for a goal-kick.
28' Suso dangles his way past Samir and gets to the edge of the penalty area before being tugged back by the Udinese centre-back. Samir is shown a yellow card and Milan have a free-kick in a prosperous position.
23' De Paul looks up and sees Lasagna making an intelligent run towards the far post and sends a cross his way, though Donnarumma is alert to the danger and he makes the grab.
17' Donnarumma takes a goal-kick short and invites the Udinese press, with the home side almost winning possession due to a sloppy pass from Romagnoli. They manage to avoid the danger however and bring the ball into midfield before Rodriguez is forced to turn around and head back to his own goal.
15' SUSO CUTS INSIDE BUT DOESN’T HIT THE TARGET! The Spain international holds off a challenge from a defender in the penalty area and puts the ball on his left before curling a shot which narrowly misses the bottom-right corner of the goal! That’s Suso’s trademark move – and it’s a surprise he didn’t do better with the opportunity.
13' De Paul beautifully lifts a pass over the top of the defence for Lasagna, but Donnarumma is off his line in a flash to beat the striker to the loose ball.
11' Abate gives away a free-kick in the centre-circle after clattering into De Paul, much to the fury of the Udinese forward who wanted the referee to play advantage. From the set-piece, Pussetto receives a pass and winds up a distance strike which forces a save out of Donnarumma, giving Udinese a corner-kick.
9' HIGUAIN HAS A CRACK! The striker gets into a great area to receive a Laxalt cross from the left, but he knuckles his half-volley just wide of the post. The striker should have done better, but it’s a decent first opportunity of the match from the away side.
7' De Paul gets himself to the edge of the Milan penalty area and has a long-range strike on his right foot, but he doesn’t get the required dip or curve – and it rolls out for a goal-kick.
5' Laxalt wins the ball in the Udinese half but he is forced to go backwards as none of his team-mates were pushed high enough up the pitch. Rodriguez makes a great run into the box but he is squeezed out by three Udinese defenders, and the left-back eventually gives away a cynical free-kick.
3' Udinese are controlling the play in the early stages, looking to expose gaps in a Milan midfield which is more used to playing with three players centrally. Bakayoko and Kessie will have to show awareness today in order to protect a shaky Rossoneri defence.
1' Milan get the match underway from the kick-off!

With 15 minutes remaining before kick-off, the team news has been confirmed! Let's start with the home side!
Despite the negativity, Milan are only three points behind Lazio in Italy’s final Champions League spot, with today’s visitors having played a game less than their Roman counter-parts. If Gattuso’s side are to emerge victorious from this crucial clash, Suso must play up to the level he has started the season with, as the diminutive Spain winger has notched four goals and seven assists in 900 minutes of Serie A action.
Milan’s last-gasp victory over Genoa thanks to a sensational 90th-minute winner from Alessio Romagnoli gave manager Gennaro Gattuso a bit of breathing room after reports suggested his position may have been under question. Two wins in two weeks has gotten the Rossoneri back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats against Inter in the derby, and Real Betis in the Europa League.
Goalscoring has been the principal concern for the Bianconeri who are averaging a goal per game, with four in their last five. The history between these two sides doesn’t particularly help the hosts, as Udinese have only managed 26 goals in their 25 home matches against Milan – with nine wins and 10 losses in the process.
A 2-2 draw last Sunday against Genoa arrested a horrible run of form for Julio Velazquez’s men who lost their previous four matches in a row. Winless since September 23rd, the Friulani are perilously close to the relegation zone – only three points ahead of Empoli and Frosinone in 18th and 19th respectively.
