Minute   Description
This will be a day that lives long in the memory for the home supporters here. They take a hiatus for a fortnight now, with the international break, but both return to LaLiga action in two weeks. Alaves will travel to Celta Vigo next time out, while Real Madrid host Levante. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a good weekend!
Wow. Just wow. Alaves pick up their third ever win in LaLiga against Real Madrid - and with it, for now, go joint-top of the table. Manu Garcia's late header hands them a famous victory and leaves Los Blancos absolutely stunned. It's three games in LaLiga and four in all competitions without a goal for them now. At full-time, it finishes Alaves 1-0 Real Madrid.
90'+5 ALAVES SCORE! MANU GARCIA! 1-0! THE HOSTS HAVE SNATCHED IT AT THE DEATH! The substitute steals three points in the final minute of injury time against the Champions League holders! The set-piece is swung in from the corner to find Sobrino at the right post. His header is flying wide to the left - and Garcia crashes into it to bundle it into the back of the net! Mendizorrotza erupts! What a result!
90'+4 A foul on Calleri by Kroos hands Alaves a late free-kick - and from that, they earn a corner on the left. Time is running out for a goal...
90'+3 Mariano crashes over Navarro as he tries to land a header. It flies wide and Alaves again are handed possession.
90'+2 Modric is penalised for a handball in the Alaves box as Madrid come forward and the hosts get the free-kick.
90' There will be five added minutes in this game for either side to find a winner.
88' Alaves opt to make the switch, with Aguirregabiria on to replace Maripan.
86' There's another delay now as Maripan gets treatment for what appears to be cramp.
84' Jony now lifts a left-footed effort from the edge of the box over the crossbar. Neither side wants to settle for a draw.
83' Vinicius pokes an effort in off the left wing that takes a touch off Nacho. Pacheco sinks onto it heavily and tucks it tight to his chest.
81' Nacho tries to turn a tight cross in off the left wing but the referee deems he has already taken the ball out of play and signals a goal-kick. Pacheco is still clearly not right though: Laguardia takes it for him instead.
80' Vinicius Junior replaces Bale as the game enters the final 10 minutes of regular time.
79' Bale whips a free-kick in from 30 yards out on the right and Pacheco almost spills it before scrambling to recover.
77' Jony! It's a wonderful counter-attack from the hosts to send the forward away down the left wing and he just pulls his 15-yard-shot wide of the right post by inches. The hosts nearly got themselves in front there.
76' Sobrino leans into Nacho and concedes a free-kick on Madrid's left wing; the visitors cannot turn the pressure into a clear-cut chance however and Alaves push them back to halfway.
74' Alaves meanwhile make a change with Wakaso repalced by Garcia.
73' Pacheco is thankfully alright to continue, though he moves rather gingerly off his line.
71' Rain hs started to fall heavily at Mendizorrotza as play pauses for treatment to Pacheco following a clash with Mariano.
69' Bale steps in off the right wing and whips an effort over the top-left corner of the crossbar. It's been a rather middling match for the Welshman.
67' Sobrino replaces Gomez now as Alaves make their first change.
62' Asensio replaces Casemiro for Madrid as they look to find the advantage.
60' Duarte fires an effort in from distance forcing Courtois into a low stop at his left post.
58' Odriozola wins a foot race down the left with Jony to reach a long ball but gives away the corner in the process. The set-piece is soft however and Courtois deals with it easily enough.
56' Kroos blasts a delivery into the box for Modric to collect but the Croatia international fails to control his touch and Madrid concede the free-kick.
54' Wakaso comes in late on Casemiro with a clumsy challenge on halfway. Despite the Alaves man pleading his case, the referee books him for the foul.
53' There's an attendance of 19,461 today for this game.
51' Down the other end, Gomez has a blinding chance after a Jony cross falls to him six yards out, yet he hesitates to shoot and Varane sweeps the ball away before he can stick it into the net.
50' Mariano gets into the box only a moment later but in trying to dink around Laguardia, spends too much time on fancy footwork and surrenders possession.
48' The substitute gets straight into the thick of the action too, turning a cross in that Pacheco deals with a touch nervously.
46' We're back underway in the second half; will either side be able to get their noses in front?
Madrid have made a change at the break; Mariano has been introduced to replace Benzema.
The quick-thinking defensive work of both teams has been the true star so far, with some excellent pieces of individual work keeping this game scoreless. Can the hosts really hold their visitors though? We'll find out soon enough.
No goals in the first half of this LaLiga clash - but both teams are very much up for this game. Alaves are doing well to hold Madrid to a stalemate - but are equally pressing themselves in an engaging encounter so far. At half-time, it's Deportivo Alaves 0-0 Real Madrid.
43' The hosts win a free-kick and counter swiftly on the back off a Madrid mishap but the visitors then counter that move too in an end-to-end passage of play.
40' Just over five minutes left in this rather uneventful first half and Alaves have done well to contain the threat of Madrid while offering their own credible attacks on occasion. Will either break the deadlock before the interval?
38' Ceballos catches Laguardia with an elbow to the face and the hosts are awarded a free-kick on the lip of their own penalty area.
36' Alaves apply some pressure of their own now through Jony on the back of a Calleri free-kick whipped in deep; Madrid manage to force them wide however and the hosts concede the throw-in after a misplaced pass.
34' Kroos lifts a cross in for Bale but the latter comes up both offside and unable to meet it with a clean header.
32' Again though, the visitors cannot make the pressure tell and Alaves nip back to halfway with a fleet-of-foot passage of play.
31' Frustration for Madrid again as Odriozola fails to pick out Bale with a sweeping cross off the right wing, though they do win a corner off Navarro's clearance.
28' A promising set-piece chance for Madrid arises following a Maripan foul on Bale but the Wales international simply smashes it into the defensive wall.
26' What a clearance from Varane! A superb diving header from the defender knocks a Calleri cross flying across the box towards the Madrid goal away and the visitors survive a lapse in concentration at the back.
24' The game has become relatively settled in the last 10 minutes though Ramos now wins a free-kick off a Navarro challenge close to his own box while trying to deal with a long ball.
22' What a chance for the hosts! A long, looping ball catches Madrid's back-line out of position and Jony nips through to collect - only he can't land a decent touch as it comes back to earth and Courtois mops up.
18' A late challenge on Ceballos leaves him crumpled on halfway but the referee instead awards a free-kick to Alaves a moment later for an offside play by Madrid.
16' The hosts hang firm however and Bale can't find the net with the follow-up, heading a second effort over the crossbar.
15' Madrid get a free-kick 30 yards out on the left wing after Bale is sent flailing by a messy challenge. A great set-piece chance now...
13' Varane sees off the danger of the set-piece and the visitors breeze back downfield, forcing Alaves onto the back foot.
12' Madrid have been the driving force in this game so far but now they concede a corner after Nacho blocks Navarro's 20-yard strike from the right flank.
9' Off the line! A wonderful clearance from Alaves after Odriozola's cross sees Benzema head a powerful effort towards goal. Navarro gets himself in the way and lashes it clear with brilliant reflexes.
8' Alaves pick up a free-kick just outside the centre circle inside Madrid's half after Calleri is brought down by Casemiro. The hosts pump the set-piece into the box; Varane clears with little trouble.
6' Back-to-back set-piece chances end with a cross into the box from Madrid that Bale and Nacho both challenge for. The latter gets a header to it, steering it beyond the far post.
5' Ceballos strikes a similar effort in a couple of plays later but this one is lower and stronger. Pacheco gets a hand to it and forces the ball out on the near-left side for a corner.
4' Seconds later, Benzema whips the first shot of the game at goal from 20 yards out on the left; Pacheco palms it down and recovers swiftly.
3' Casemiro sweeps a long ball down the left wing seeking Nacho but the Spain international can't reel it in as it flies beyond him for a throw-in.
1' Within the first 60 seconds, Madrid have a free-kick on halfway after Wakaso cleans out Modric with a rugby-style challenge.
