Minute   Description
Bayern will travel to Greece on Tuesday night for a date with AEK Athens in the Champions League, while Wolfsburg visit Fortuna Dusseldorf next weekend. That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
90'+4 FULL-TIME: WOLFSBURG 1-3 BAYERN MUNICH.
90'+2 Into the final two minutes and both sides seem to have accepted the result. As time winds down, Bayern are milking the clock in possession. They get the ball up the pitch and win a free-kick, which they are in no rush to take.
90' Weghorst does well to fend off a defender, turning strongly to get a volley off from 10 yards, but misses at the near post. As he sends that effort wide, the fourth official raises his board to indicate there will be a minimum of four minutes added on at the end of this match.
88' Neuer is booked for time wasting. A bit of a needless one here for the keeper to pick up.
84' The final change of the match for either side sees Bayern bring on Sanches, with James the one to give way.
83' The tempo has fizzled out quite a bit now, with Wolfsburg slowly starting to admit defeat as Bayern see this one out in a very professional manner. It's going to take something very special for Wolfsburg to flip the script late on.
81' In an attempt to win the ball back high up the pitch, Weghorst commits a hard and late foul on Thiago, which sees him into the book.
79' Some decent moments in attack for the hosts amount to nothing, as they just miss out on the final ball. There's still time for them to make this an interesting finish, but they need to halve the deficit in a hurry.
74' That is a crushing blow for Wolfsburg, who had done so well to pull themselves back into this match over the course of this second half. They're going to need to dig real deep here if they are to mount a comeback.
72' Lewandowski provides the assist, and has now been involved in all three goals for the visitors today.
THAT MIGHT DO IT! Bayern restore their two-goal lead! It's 3-1! James produces a clinical finish from 10 yards after being picked out in all sorts of space in the penalty area, played through by Lewandowski! It has come against the run of play, and it should be enough to secure the points for Kovac's side!
71' A third and final change for the hosts sees Malli come on in place of Rexhbecaj. It's another attack-minded change for Wolfsburg, who are going all out in search of an equaliser.
68' The momentum has done a complete 180-degree turn as it's all Wolfsburg now. Bayern sense the change, hence their reasoning to bring on an extra midfielder. It's really game on now, with the visitors in real danger of letting this one slip from their grasp.
66' A second Bayern change sees them bring on an extra body in midfield, as Goretzka replaces Gnabry.
63' Within a few minutes of coming into the match, Mehmedi has helped bring Wolfsburg back to within one goal with a lovely assist.
WOLFSBURG PULL ONE BACK! 2-1! Exactly what the hosts needed, and that's been coming! Weghorst, who has had little in terms of service this afternoon, finds himself left all alone in the penalty area as he gets on the end of Mehmedi's cross, smartly bouncing a first-time finish beyond a scrambling Neuer!
62' Plenty of possession for the hosts as they push on now in search of a way back into this match. They're looking much more energetic, and there's a sense that the belief is really growing in the side.
60' Ginczek is also introduced, at the expense of Brekalo who has been incredibly wasteful in possession, completing less than 50 per cent of his passes
Labbadia immediately goes to his bench for a pair of changes. This is a positive one as Mehmedi comes on in place of Steffen.
59' The momentum has completely been flipped at Volkswagen Arena! Bayern looked in complete control and on course for three points when Lewandowski doubled their lead shortly after the restart, but a red card shown to Robben has breathed life back into the hosts and this stadium!
57' BAYERN DOWN TO 10 MEN! Well that should certainly be a boost to the hosts' pursuit of a comeback! Robben is late arriving as he catches Rexhbecaj from behind to send the midfielder to ground, and the referee doesn't hesitate in showing the Dutchman his second yellow of the match!
56' This is better from Wolfsburg, who are spending more time here in attack. They're looking more of a threat on the ball, and are doing better to actually keep possession for more than a few brief moments. Now can they turn it into something more?
54' OFFSIDE! That's a massive opportunity missed for Wolfsburg, as Weghorst does well to get behind the defence and on the end of a ball over the top, before being taken to ground from behind by Rafinha in the penalty area. It would have been a spot-kick for the hosts, but the striker was fractions offside in the build-up, meaning the end result is nothing but a Bayern free-kick!
50' That might be curtains for Wolfsburg, who have hardly looked like scoring one goal today, let alone two. The hosts need to start showing a bit more incentive going forward. It's time to loosen the restraints and start taking some chances.
48' BAYERN DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! 2-0! Calm, cool and collected is Lewandowski, who takes a cross from Gnabry, rounds Casteels with a clever first touch and slots the ball into the empty net for his second of the match!
46' Wolfsburg get the second half underway!
Bayern have made one change at the break, with Rafael coming on to replace Alaba in a like-for-like change at full-back.
If there's anything Niko Kovac could want to improve upon after the restart it would surely be getting rid of that bit of rust in front of goal, but otherwise this has been an excellent response to his side following a tumultuous period. Wolfsburg need to make changes, especially in midfield where they are being dominated.
Through 45 minutes at Volkswagen Arena and it's been all Bayern Munich, who look a safe bet to end a four-match winless run as Robert Lewandowski's goal has them leading at the interval. Wolfsburg have Koen Casteels to thank for the scoreline not being worse, while they have yet to manage a shot of their own against Manuel Neuer.
45'+1 HALF-TIME: WOLFSBURG 0-1 BAYERN MUNICH.
45' There will be a minimum of one minute added on at the end of this first half.
44' Following a decent passage of play from Bayern, Wolfsburg manage to close their gaps and snuff out the attack, which results in a rather theatrical tumble from Robben, who was hoping for a penalty. The referee is having none of it, and books the Dutchman for simulation.
41' Into the final five minutes of the first half and Bayern remain camped out in the attacking half. Wolfsburg have hardly managed to string more than a few passes together to get forward when they win it back, as they've made life incredibly easy on Kovac's side. The hosts look as though they could use another body in midfield - someone to link the midfield and attack.
39' One-way traffic in Wolfsburg at the moment, as Bayern continue to control this match. The visitors have quite a stranglehold over it at the moment, with the hosts offering very little going forward. Bayern did well to settle into a rhythm early on, and Wolfsburg has been unable to break it.
35' Arnold is the second player booked on the day, just minutes after Thiago saw yellow - this shown to the Wolfsburg midfielder for a foul on Lewandowski in the penalty area, as the two were jostling for position while Bayern were waiting to take a corner.
33' Dangerous play from Thiago who gets his elbow up into the face of Steffen. That will see the Bayern midfielder into the book - the first yellow card of the match.
30' IT'S BEEN COMING! Bayern lead 1-0! Hummels threads a perfect pass through the Wolfsburg defence, aided by a remarkably clever and clean dummy from Gnabry. Lewandowski, the intended target, runs onto the end of it and finishes expertly through the legs of Casteels!
Hummels is credited with the assist as a result of his perfectly weighted throughball, but Gnabry deserves credit as well for his lovely dummy to let that run through for Lewandowski.
29' Appeals for a penalty as Lewandowski claims his shirt was grabbed by Arnold, going to ground at the far post as a corner is whipped in, but the referee doesn't give it a second look. Pressure is finally starting to mount for Bayern as they look more of a threat with their time in attack.
23' Casteels is forced into his second save of the match, this one not the most difficult, however, as Kimmich's effort on the end of a well-worked move is fairly central, making for a routine save for the keeper. That was a clever assist from James in the build-up, though.
21' The visitors are camped out again in the attacking half, but their approach is really lacking pace. It's all rather pedestrian from Kovac's side as they pass it around harmlessly on the fringes of the final third.
19' Wolfsburg have done well to weather the early storm, as they've battled their way back into this match. They need to start offering a bit more of a threat in possession, but in fairness the same can be said about Bayern right now. Chances have been few and far between thus far.
15' The delivery in from the left is inviting, but nothing comes of it. Pressure stays on as Wolfsburg manage to keep possession, though Bayern comfortably see aside the threat.
14' Wolfsburg's turn now to threaten from a set-piece, as Brekalo does well down the left to win a free-kick in a dangerous position, following a foul by Kimmich.
11' That's a simply stunning turn from Lewandowski, who takes a pass from Hummels and completely fools Brooks with a lovely first touch, which forces the centre-half into conceding a free-kick in a dangerous area, 25 yards from goal in the centre of the pitch. What can Bayern make of this?
7' Wolfsburg have hardly spent any time in possession thus far, as Bayern have completely dictated the opening stages. The hosts have been in a defensive shell off the ball, hoping to keep Bayern at arm's length while proving unable to pass their way out from the back when the opportunity presents itself.
3' Plenty of possession for Bayern in the opening stages, but it's all coming in harmless areas as they largely work it around in midfield, looking to get into something of a rhythm. There's little urgency being shown by the visitors to get the ball forward early on.
1' AND THEY'RE OFF! Bayern are in red and black as they get the match underway, with Wolfsburg in green and white!

CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
Impressive victories over Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen saw Wolfsburg get their campaign off to an excellent start, but they’ve been winless since the first day of September, drawing three and losing twice. They need to start turning some of these draws into victories if they are to realise their European aspirations.
Good news for Kovac is that no side has been able to pull away from the pack, meaning Bayern only trail leaders Borussia Dortmund by a manageable four points. That being said, the gap could grow in a hurry if Die Roten are unable to right the ship.
The pressure has certainly mounted on Niko Kovac as his side have slipped to sixth in the league with just one point from their last three matches, and just one goal in that span – something incredibly uncharacteristic of this star-studded Bayern side.
The international break came at an important time for both clubs, offering a much-needed opportunity to regroup – Bayern were winless in four ahead of the break, and Wolfsburg without a victory in five.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this Bundesliga match as Wolfsburg welcome Bayern Munich to Volkswagen Arena!
