Minute   Description
That's it for today, goodbye!
That means that Everton move into sixth position in the table and are now unbeaten in their last three league matches as they prepare for the Merseyside derby next weekend. Meanwhile, Cardiff remain in the relegation zone due to Southampton's inferior goal difference ahead of their match against fellow promoted side Wolves.
Cardiff come close as Hoilett whips in a cross from the left wing and finds Murphy at the far post. His first touch on the ball wasn't great and allowed the defenders to close him down and Keane was able to put the ball out for a corner before the midfielder could get his shot away.
90'+4 Paterson looks extremely frustrated as he a free-kick is awarded against him. He's struggled to get on the ball today though, and he hasn't been able to make an impact like he has in his previous few games.
90'+2 The goal scorer comes off the pitch to a standing ovation as Silva decides to put on an extra centre half in Zouma for the final few minutes.
87' Everton are taking their time now as Sigurdsson strolls across to the corner flag and the Cardiff players are looking very frustrated as they wait for him.
85' Final change from Warnock now as he brings on Ward for Camarasa.
84' From a corner, the ball is bouncing around the in the box and it eventually comes to Gomes who is on the right wing and he aims his cross low, and Etheridge is there to collect the ball at his near post.
81' The Cardiff players are not happy with the referee as they claim they should have had a free-kick, but their claim is once again waved away.
79' Shouts from the Cardiff fans are ringing around Goodison Park now as Cunningham was tackled by Coleman in the box. The referee waves the claim away, but on a second look it is clear the Coleman didn't actually make any contact with the ball, and Warnock is not happy with that decision on the sideline.
77' Bernard goes off to a standing ovation from the home crowd as he is replaced by Tosun.
74' Another change from Warnock now as well as he replaces Arter with Hoilett.
73' Walcott lasted longer than expected after he went down with a calf problem and is taken off to be replaced by Lookman.
71' Murphy is crowded out by three Everton defenders on the edge of the box, but he does really well to keep the ball and keep the chance alive for Cardiff, who finally have some space to get into, but the play is eventually stopped as Gunnarsson is fouled.
69' Cardiff have put some really good crosses into the Everton box throughout this game, but each time they have had no one there to get on the end of it. Paterson is struggling up front on his own as no other runners are coming up to help him.
67' Harris is taken off after that collision with Pickford and Paterson and he is replaced by Murphy.
65' Coleman whipped a brilliant ball into the box, and it had beaten the Cardiff defence, but Walcott and Sigurdsson who were running onto the ball also weren't quick enough and a great chance goes begging for the home side.
63' Harris was shown a yellow card for that challenge on Pickford.
61' Cardiff have been pushing forward since the goal and have been awarded a free-kick which could cause some problems for the Everton defence if they can put a good cross into the box.
59' SIGURDSSON GIVES EVERTON THE LEAD! He didn't have much to do apart from get into the right place after Etheridge palmed the ball away. The midfielder is the quickest to react in the box and he is left with a simple finish into an open net. But Walcott did all the work in making that goal happen. He was played in with an inch-perfect throughball and he was left one-on-one with the goalkeeper. He aimed his shot straight at the keeper and the rebound favoured his teammate. Everton lead 1-0!
58' Camarasa is shown the yellow card for dissent.
57' Cardiff want either a penalty or at least a free-kick on the edge of the box after Paterson was bundled over, but the referee waves away the claim, much to Arter's annoyance.
54' Everton are having to try a bit harder to get the ball into the Cardiff box now, as the away side are pressing their opposition as soon as the ball gets into their feet.
50' Cardiff had a free-kick on the right wing just before Walcott went down and it is swung into the centre of the box. Morrison gets his head to it, but it wasn't aimed on target, but Pickford came off his line to collect it. Walcott is also back onto the field after the goalkeeper clears the ball.
46' There are no changes to either side, so Cardiff get us back underway for the second half.
Harris has posed the biggest threat for Cardiff on the right wing, and he could be key to getting something out of this game if they can get the ball to him more often. As for Everton, if they can improve their finishing and find a way past Bamba, who has been equal to everything so far, then it won't be long until they find the back of the net.
Everton have come the closest to breaking the deadlock out of the two sides so far, but despite their dominance, they have struggled to get most of their shots on target. They have limited Cardiff to only two chances in the first half though, and the away side haven't managed to get into any dangerous positions that would cause the defence some real problems.
The crowd and forward players for Everton are all shouting for a penalty after Digne is bundled to the ground in the box, but the referee views it as a simple shoulder-to-shoulder challenge and instead points for a goal kick.
43' Etheridge is shown a yellow card for time wasting.
42' Mina makes a driving run through the centre of the field and the Cardiff players just let him get through. The defence stood strong though and Everton couldn't produce a shot at the end of the move.
40' The resulting free-kick from Arter's challenge is whipped into the centre of the box and Richarlison rises highest to get to the ball. He directs his header on target, but it is straight at Etheridge.
39' The referee is having a word with Arter after he trips Walcott off the ball, and he calls Morrison over to talk to him as well. It looks like the midfielder has been given his last warning and next time it will be a yellow card.
38' A neat one-two between Digne and Bernard creates some space for the left-back, but once again the cross into the box isn't good enough and Cardiff are able to clear it easily.
36' There was an incident behind the goal between Mina and Paterson after a bit of shoving between the two. It didn't look like there was much in it, but Paterson certainly wasn't happy with whatever Mina had to say to him as he pushed him out of the way to get back onto the pitch.
35' Manga and Harris have worked well to create space for Cardiff down the right wing so far this game, and Harris' ball into the box was another good one, but there is no one there to get onto the end of the cross once again.
33' Gomes decides to take a shot from long range this time after receiving the ball from Gueye, but he drags his shot and it is just wide of the near post.
31' Everton are starting to move forward with more purpose now as Sigurdsson tries to play a throughball to Richarlison in the box, but the pass is just too heavy and Etheridge is happy to let it roll out of play.
27' The home crowd are starting to get frustrated now as Bernard puts the ball out of play once after he failed to find Digne with his pass.
25' Harris makes a great run down the right wing and Digne struggled to catch him, but at the last second, the winger took a heavy touch and the ball just rolled out of play just as he crossed it into the box.
23' Cardiff are struggling to get any meaningful possession at the moment as Everton are keeping the ball well in midfield, but every time the home team try to move forward, Bamba has been in the way to clear the danger.
21' Everton have another good chance from a corner as Digne's cross is aimed at the cluster of players in the centre of the box and Mina is the first to get to the ball, but he is just under it and that allows Bamba the chance to get the ball clear.
19' Coleman gets past Cunningham and whips a great ball into the box, but Richarlison makes a run towards the near post, meaning that the chance goes to waste as Digne commits a foul to try and win the ball back on the edge of the box.
17' Cardiff do look like they can cause Everton problems every time they get the ball as they are moving up the pitch with a lot of pace which is catching some of the defenders out.
15' Paterson has another chance now and he is in a lot of space in the right side of the box and he is aiming for the far bottom corner, but just like Gueye at the other end, he drags his shot wide.
14' Gueye has a half chance up the other for Everton now and he does well to create space for himself, but ultimately drags his shot wide of the post.
13' A long throw from Gunnarsson almost causes some problems for Everton as Paterson makes a run onto the ball, he gets his head onto it, but it is an easy catch for Pickford.
11' Bernard swings a good cross into the box from the left wing and Walcott is in a good position to have a shot, but the ball is just slightly above it and he can't direct his header on goal.
9' Everton have a corner which Sigurdsson swings towards the far post. Keane gets his head to the ball, but he doesn't get a clean contact with it and it is caught by Etheridge.
7' Heavy challenge from Arter on Seamus at the edge of the pitch, and there could have been cause for a yellow card as it was rash, but the referee only awards a free-kick which Cardiff deal with easily.
6' Richarlison has won a free-kick on the halfway line and he goes down clutching his head, but the contact looked minimal and he is back on his feet quickly.
5' Harris and Camarasa are causing Everton a couple of problems down the right wing, and there is a mix up amongst the Everton defenders as a cross is put into the box, but they manage to clear the ball before Harris can react.
3' Everton have kept the ball well in the opening couple of minutes, and Cardiff have only had a couple of touches, one of which was a clearance from Etheridge.
1' Sigurdsson gets the first half underway for Everton at Goodison Park!
