Minute   Description
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
This much-needed victory for Cardiff takes them out of the relegation zone and up to 16th place, setting them up nicely for their trip to Everton immediately after the international break. Brighton miss out on the chance to climb into the top half of the division, meanwhile, and they now have just one away win in 20 attempts, with Leicester at home next up on November 24.
90'+6 FULL-TIME: CARDIFF 2-1 BRIGHTON
90'+5 A frustrated Bissouma throws the ball away after a decision went against his side, leading to the third - and possibly final - booking of the game.
90'+4 Five minutes have been added on in South Wales, but we can expect closer to six or seven following that dramatic Bamba goal and the scenes that followed. It is now Cardiff's turn to defend, as they attempt to see things through and add a second win of the season to their tally.
90'+2 NEARLY A THIRD! Just when Brighton had seemingly done enough to earn a share of the spoils, Cardiff finally made their pressure tell. Paterson comes close to adding another goal to his tally, only for his shot to spin wide of the post.
90' GOOOOOOAAAALLLLLLLL!!! Cardiff 2-1 Brighton! Incredible scenes at the Cardiff City Stadium, as the home side finally find a way through. Bamba's overhead kick comes back off the post, Paterson's follow-up is deflected onto the bar by Dunk and Bamba then has a second bite of the cherry with his simple finish from under the bar.
CLOSE! Brighton are seriously holding on now as a short corner is worked to Camarasa, whose shot is powerful and needs dealing with by Ryan down low. Hughton is desperate for the full-time whistle.
89' SAVE! Not a bad attempt from Camarasa, who waits for the ball to drop for him and then strikes it on target from 25 yards out. A routine stop for Ryan in the end - his first save of the second period.
88' Cardiff go back to their patient build-up play, but this latest attack comes to a disappointing end as Peltier's cross is well overhit. Brighton, though, still sense that all three points are there for the taking if they can stage one more counter.
86' This match remains delicately poised as we enter the final four minutes of normal time. Cardiff are still on top, but Brighton look a threat when they get bodies forward on the counter. There is still time for a late twist here.
84' SAVE! Having sat back pretty much throughout this second half, Albion are now starting to get forward. Izquierdo, guilty of wasting that last chance a couple of minutes ago, fires a shot down the middle from 20 yards for Etheridge to push over the bar.
82' Brighton have now played nearly 50 minutes with 10 men, meaning that attacking chances have been limited. The visitors had a man over on this rare foray forward, though, only for Izquierdo to take too long on the ball and lose possession on the edge of the box.
80' Still no shots on target in the second half as we enter the final 10 minutes. The home fans in attendance today are starting to get a little impatient.
78' Cardiff have dominated this second period, as expected, but Ryan has had very little to do. The closest the Bluebirds have come to a second goal was through Harris's shot on the hour, which came back off the crossbar.
76' Ralls, who had to be rushed back to fitness to fill in for the suspended Arter today, is replaced by the more attack-minded Reid for the final 15 minutes.
72' Warnock introduces some fresh legs out wide, with Hoilett - last season's Player of the Year - on for Murphy.
SHOT! A rare opportunity for Brighton to regain the lead, as Izquierdo blasts over the bar from outside the box. Etheridge could only punch a cross into the feet of the winger, who perhaps should have done better.
71' This is what is referred to as taking one for the team. Cunningham steps in front of Andone to stop the Brighton sub's clean run through on goal.
70' Morrison is finally replaced by Peltier, who has been out of the side since injuring his shoulder against Man City in September. Manga will likely move into the middle alongside Bamba.
67' Cardiff are enjoying some sustained pressure, winning a couple of corners in quick succession. Albion are just about keeping their opponents at arm's length - but for how long?
65' Brighton well and truly have their backs against the wall now, as Cardiff throw all they have at their 10-man opponents. Paterson's header at the end of a Murphy cross is blocked.
63' Murray, who has barely seen the ball since his side went down to 10 men, is replaced by Andone for the remainder of the match.
62' The hosts are ramping up the pressure, minute by minute. Camarasa sends a deep free-kick into the box but, despite a favourable bounce, a Cardiff player cannot get a shot away.
56' Brighton are holding firm at the back, though they still have more than half an hour to see through. Harris, now operating down the right, has a cross blocked.
54' Cardiff are being very patient with their play - perhaps too patient - with another attack coming to a halt down the left. Gunnarsson has a chance to launch another long throw into the box, which Dunk eventually cleared.
52' Harris, who has been just about Cardiff's best player today, bursts down the left and clips a good delivery towards the front post. Duffy blocks the cross and Ryan is there to collect the next ball that comes into the middle.
50' Warnock's men have started to dominate possession, which has not always been the case this season - that's what a man advantage can do for you! Albion seem happy to sit back and potentially hit their opponents on the counter.
48' Cardiff also had a man advantage against Newcastle and Huddersfield earlier in the season, but could only draw both games. The home side have started the second half a little slowly.
46' Brighton, down to 10 men, get the action back underway for the second half.
Cardiff will now see this as a huge opportunity to pick up just a second victory of the season - anything less really will be a disappointment for Warnock. Brighton, meanwhile, have 45 minutes to see through with 10 men following that deserved red card for Stephens, so claiming a point will now likely be the target for Chris Hughton.
The sides go into half-time level at 1-1 following a lively opening 45 minutes in South Wales. Dunk gave Brighton a great start by guiding March's sixth-minute free-kick into the back of the net, but makeshift centre-forward Paterson levelled things up for Cardiff 22 minutes later, before Albion midfielder Stephens was dismissed for a reckless challenge on Cunningham.
45'+4 HALF-TIME: CARDIFF 1-1 BRIGHTON
45'+2 Three minutes have been added on at the end of this lively first half, two of which have already been played. Both teams are probing away without managing to find a way through on goal.
45' WELL WIDE! Camarasa decides to take on the shot from range, sending the powerful hit right into an opposition player. Ralls then tries his luck from a similar range, but the ball ends up in the stands.
43' The tempo of the match has slowed over the past few minutes. Cardiff started slowly but have been the side on top for the past 20 minutes now, and it is they who are looking the more likely to edge in front.
39' March is the player sacrificed following Stephens' red card five minutes ago, with Bissouma coming on in his place.
37' Cardiff have wind in their sails, sensing a second goal before the half-time interval. The Welsh outfit trailed to an early Dunk header, but have since hit back through a Paterson goal and now have a one-man advantage.
35' Things have threatened to boil over in the aftermath of that nasty challenge from Stephens. Paterson has a few words to say and is shown a yellow card by referee Martin Atkinson, who is being kept busy today.
34' Brighton have been rattled by that Cardiff leveller, and they are now down to 10 men for the remaining hour or so. Stephens followed through on his challenge with Cunningham and was rightly shown a straight red.
30' GOOD ATTEMPT! Cardiff have pushed on since levelling things up, coming close to a second through a decent effort from Ralls. Good technique from the returning midfielder, who sends his shot towards the top corner for Ryan to keep out.
28' GOOOOOAL! Cardiff 1-1 Brighton! Moments after Murray had an attempt saved at one end, sending his deflected shot into the hands of Etheridge, the home side drag themselves level. Camarasa and Harris exchange passes, before the latter’s chipped cross into the six-yard box is nodded home by Paterson.
27' A dangerous delivery into the Brighton box, via a left-sided free-kick from Camarasa, is comfortably dealt with by the visitors. Neither side can keep hold of the ball for more than a minute at the moment!
26' Camarasa is clattered into by Kayal and initially stays down on the ground. The Spaniard appears to be fine to continue, with a little under 20 minutes of the first half to play.
22' Cardiff are relying on Gunnarsson long throws into the box, but Brighton have been equal to everything thrown at them so far. The visitors appear to be targeting their opponents in the wide areas.
20' Cardiff are unable to match their opponents at the moment, with Brighton the side on top and looking more likely to bag the game's second goal.
18' DRAGGED WIDE! Knockaert, who perhaps has a point to prove on his return to the side, picks out March in a good shooting position inside the box, but the midfielder rather scuffs his shot wide of the target.
16' Much better from Cardiff, as Camarasa - the most technically gifted of the home side's attacking players - is nearly picked out in the final third. A good block from Stephens denies the Spaniard a shot at goal.
14' Cardiff supporters are urging their side on, but with nearly a quarter of an hour played the hosts have yet to create anything in front of goal.
10' OVER! Camarasa, who hit the crossbar from a free-kick from a similar distance against Leicester last week, sends this latest set-piece into the stands.
8' Murphy attempts to get Cardiff back on level terms by driving towards the opposition box, only to be brought to ground by Brighton goalscorer Dunk.
6' March sends a decent delivery towards the back post, and it is Dunk who gets on the end of it for his second goal in two games.
GOOOOAL! Cardiff 0-1 Brighton! The visitors open the scoring with just six minutes played in South Wales through a back-post header from Dunk. The centre-back peels away from Sol Bamba and heads the ball past Etheridge from five yards out.
5' It appears to be more of a 4-3-3 formation for the home side today, with Paterson once again spearheading the side in the absence of a recognised striker.
3' Brighton have seen more of the ball in these early stages, without managing to get it into the feet of leading scorer Murray in the final third.
1' Following an impeccably observed minute's silence to mark Remembrance Day, we are underway in the Welsh capital.
The two teams are now out on the field at the Cardiff City Stadium and we are moments away from kick-off.

Cardiff have struggled in the opening few months of the season, collecting just five points from the first 33 on offer to find themselves in 19th place. The hosts’ only win so far came against Fulham here three weeks ago, though they are only one point from safety ahead of this big showdown with a Brighton side sitting pretty in 12th place.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League clash between Cardiff City and Brighton and Hove Albion at the Cardiff City Stadium. The Bluebirds are seeking just a second victory since returning to the top flight, while Brighton can move into the top half of the division should they return from South Wales with all three points.
