Minute   Description
STAT! For the first time in their history in Serie A, AC Milan will finish five consecutive campaigns outside of the top four in the table.
Fiorentina were beaten 1-0 last week by Cagliari on the road, ending their Europa League hopes. Saponara, Hugo, Cristoforo and Dabo all start for Pioli's men, while Veretout misses out due to suspension.
Milan have made three changes to the side that drew against Atalanta last time out. Suso, Abate and Biglia come out of the side, while Locatelli, Cutrone and Calabria are all restored into the line-up. Riccardo Montolivo was sent off last week and is suspended this afternoon.
Fiorentina subs: Milan Badelj, Valentin Eysseric, Diego Falcinelli, Maximiliano Olivera, Michele Cerofolini, Gil Dias, Vitja Valencic, Petko Hristov, Bruno Gaspar, Cyril Thereau, Bartlomiej Dragowski.
FIORENTINA (4-3-3): Marco Sportiello; Nikola Milenkovic, German Pezzella, Vitor Hugo, Cristiano Biraghi; Sebastian Cristoforo, Bryan Dabo, Marco Benassi; Federico Chiesa, Giovanni Simeone, Riccardo Saponara.
Milan subs: Andre Silva, Gustavo Gomez, Ignazio Abate, Lucas Biglia, Mateo Musacchio, Marco Storari, Luca Antonelli, Emanuele Torrasi, Frank Tsadjout, Tiago Dias, Antonio Donnarumma.
MILAN (4-3-3): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Daniel Calabria, Leonardo Bonucci, Alessio Romagnoli, Ricardo Rodriguez; Franck Kessie, Manuel Locatelli, Giacomo Bonaventura; Patrick Cutrone, Nikola Kalinic, Hakan Calhanoglu.
Let's look at the two teams this afternoon, starting with the home side.
Fiorentina will miss out on a Europa League spot, although they cannot drop lower than eighth place in the table. The campaign will be remembered for the tragic death of captain Davide Astori, who passed away in March. Stefano Pioli has kept his side on track admirably in the hardest possible circumstances and they can be very pleased with their efforts over the final 10 weeks of the term.
Gattuso's side have won only two of their last 10 matches, including a home defeat to Benevento along with their hammering at the hands of Juventus in the Coppa Italia final. The Rossoneri need a positive result this afternoon to end their season on a high note.
Milan were within minutes of securing the spot last week when they faced off against Atalanta on the road. However, Andrea Masiello's goal in the 90th minute snatched a point for Gian Piero Gasperini's team, keeping their hopes alive.
It's the final day of the campaign, but the Rossoneri are still battling for a Europa League spot with Atalanta. Gennaro Gattuso's men sit in the final place in sixth, although Atalanta are just one point behind boasting a superior goal difference.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Serie A clash between AC Milan and Fiorentina at the San Siro.
