Minute   Description
For Barcelona, the celebrations can begin with four games to spare. After clinching the Copa Del Rey last week, Valverde's side have secured the double this evening and Messi is the hero yet again. 41 games unbeaten in LaLiga, including all 34 matches so far this season, with the target now to remain the entire campaign without defeat.
A four-match unbeaten run comes to a close and the curtain falls on Deportivo's time in LaLiga. The hosts showed improvements in recent weeks under the guidance of Clarence Seedorf and performed admirably again tonight. However, it proved to be too little too late as Deportivo are relegated to the second division.
FULL-TIME! That's it! Barcelona are champions for the seventh time in 10 seasons! It wasn't easy for Ernesto Valverde's side, as Deportivo fought back from a two-goal deficit, but in the end it was Lionel Messi's night again as he struck twice late on to seal glory for Barca and condemn the hosts to relegation.
90'+1 TWO minutes of added time.
90' WHAT A SAVE! Martinez in action again! Pique, for some reason, is alone in the middle of the area to receive Luis Suarez's driven cross and is denied by the Deportivo stopper.
89' The scoreline tonight certainly doesn't tell the full story and Deportivo can hold their heads high. Given their performances tonight and in recent weeks, I'd back them to secure an immediate return from the Segunda.
87' And here's the change everyone was waiting for. Rakitic makes way, with Iniesta on to a standing ovation from sets of supporters from both teams.
86' Borges also makes way, replaced by Andone.
Deportivo make a double change, the first of which sees Cartabia replace Valle.
85' Not the best performance from Suarez tonight but you can't really complain with two assists!
HAT-TRICK! Messi gets his third and condemns Deportivo to Segunda football next season. The Argentina ace combines with both Denis and Luis Suarez, with the latter then feeding him through for a comfortable finish.
83' Deportivo follow suit with their first change, replacing Guilherme with the experienced Muntari.
82' Unselfish from Suarez, who helps Messi reach 31 league goals this season - level at the top of the European golden boot charts with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
GOAL! There's the Barcelona winner! Luis Suarez and Messi combine brilliantly once again, playing a one-two in a very crowded defence but somehow still retaining the ball. In the end, it's Messi who finishes the move as LaLiga stroll the ball into the net and waltz towards the LaLiga title.
81' BRILLIANT SAVE! Messi and Luis Suarez combine brilliantly, with the former feeding through the number nine and leaving the goal at his mercy. Not for the first time though, Ruben Martinez makes a tremendous save to keep the game level.
80' Dangerous moment from Barcelona, who look set to capitalise on a defensive lapse from Deportivo. Messi is the man with the chance, exactly who you'd want the ball to be with, but the defence closes around him and his attempt is blocked.
78' Seedorf seems reluctant to make changes to his Deportivo side, which may risk upsetting their tempo. In all honesty, they've got no reason to make any substitutions yet as everything is going rather well.
76' Barcelona have lost their rhythm and if they are to win the title tonight, it won't be in style. Deportivo have matched them throughout.
74' Another change for Barcelona, as Paulinho replaces his Brazil compatriot Coutinho.
73' WIDE! Luis Suarez has been feeding on scraps this evening but gets an opportunity there, receiving the ball after Messi drives forward from inside his own half. The Uruguay international shifts the ball onto his left and fires a shot at goal, which clatters into the side netting.
72' A draw means nothing to Deportivo in the grand scheme of things and the hosts are pushing forward with all their might to try and find a winner. As it stands, they look the more likely to find a deciding goal.
70' SAVE! A corner for Deportivo, who are being urged on by their passionate supporters, finds a man in the middle and requires ter Stegen to save down low to his left.
68' First change of the game is a Barcelona one, as Dembele is replaced by Denis Suarez. A decent performance from the France international.
It would take a brave man to predict the outcome of this game and I'm certainly not that person. It really could go either way.
66' A draw is still enough for Barcelona to win the title but it wouldn't be enough to save Deportivo from playing Segunda football next season. Avoiding relegation was always unlikely though and the sense of pride this result would generate would certainly provide a massive boost.
64' A brilliant attacking move from Deportivo and the equaliser is nothing more than they deserve.
GOAL! Deportivo are level! A brilliant move as Valle finds space down the right, switches play across the box to Borges and he tucks back to Colak. He makes no mistake with his finish, firing low past ter Stegen.
62' Messi starting to find more and more space, making him increasingly dangerous. He clips a cross into a dangerous area where Luisinho heads the ball behind for a corner. Dembele's delivery is decent and Umtiti rises highest, heading over the bar.
60' Half an hour to go, Barcelona are cruising towards another LaLiga title. Seedorf will be happy with his side's performance but Deportivo still look set for relegation.
58' Semedo becomes the first Barcelona player to be booked this evening, after he fouls Luisinho.
57' Deportivo being very limited in what they can do in attack, with Barcelona dominating, but they remain in the game.
55' Coutinho is playing in central midfield this evening, operating in the sort of areas that we've become accustomed to seeing Iniesta shine, and he's been one of the better performers in the match.
53' Deportivo soaking up a fair amount of pressure and struggling to see a lot of the ball, with Barcelona turning up the heat. You get the feeling that another goal is right around the corner.
51' SAVED! Martinez forced into action again, as Messi latches onto the ball inside the six-yard box but his flicked effort is kept out.
49' Barcelona look a bit more composed than they did in the first half, moving the ball around well, but the hosts are standing firm.
47' Still a fantastic atmosphere with both sets of supporters in a very good mood. Deportivo have continued on the front foot, with Pique having to clear the ball away inside the six-yard box.
45' KICK-OFF! Back underway, with Barcelona 45 minutes away from the LaLiga title and Deportivo are on the verge of officially being relegated.
Barcelona certainly haven't been at their best but they never really need to be. Coutinho and Messi have both scored a brilliant goal each, while the Blaugrana have also forced saves from Ruben Martinez. A point is all that's needed to secure the LaLiga title and Ernesto Valverde's side are on course to seal their crown.
Deportivo continue to fight with everything they have, entering the game on a four-match unbeaten run, and they're performing valiantly this season. Nothing but a win tonight will be enough to save them from relegation but the performance is encouraging nevertheless.
HALF-TIME! 45 minutes are up and Barcelona are on course to secure the LaLiga title this evening, while Deportivo's top-flight status hangs by a thread. Philippe Coutinho and Lionel Messi scored for the visitors, with Arsenal loanee Lucas Perez scoring for the hosts- and seeing another disallowed earlier on.
44' Certainly an entertaining first half, with both sides performing well. Barcelona haven't been at their best though, performing in flashes.
42' Deportivo certainly aren't going down without a fight. The atmosphere is rocking, the players are playing with attacking intent and they look confident. Fans may wonder where these sort of displays have been all year!
40' Fantastic link-up play between the two forwards, giving Deportivo some hope.
GOAL! Deportivo aren't out of this! The hosts push forward and Valle plays the ball across to Perez in the middle of the box, who confidently fires past ter Stegen.
38' Superb cross from Suarez, a brilliant piece of skill.
GOAL! I should've known better but to criticise! Barcelona double their advantage in some style, as Suarez crosses to the far post with the outside of his boot where Messi volleys home. Martinez gets a touch but it's not enough.
36' Valverde will certainly want more from his side, as it's hardly the sort of rousing performance to celebrate a title victory. It's extremely unlikely they'll lose here tonight but surely you want to seal glory with a bang?
34' Speculation that Seedorf will leave Deportivo when his contract expires in June but he's certainly made an impression here. Their run of form has proved to be too little too late but it's raised optimism. It would be great to see him stay for next year.
32' CLOSE! Big chance at the other end for Deportivo, as a direct ball is floated into the middle by Colak where Valle pokes wide of the mark.
31' Coutinho close to a second, after he links up with Dembele again and curls an effort just wide of the post. Barcelona building up momentum again.
30' WHAT A SAVE! Schar dangerously fouls Messi, risking a second yellow, and the Argentina international sets his sights at goal from the free-kick. It's curled towards the top corner but Martinez is equal to the effort with a stunning diving save.
28' OVER! Arsenal loanee Perez, already denied a goal by the offside flag, fires a shot over the bar following a poor clearance from ter Stegen.
26' Since taking an early lead through Coutinho, Barcelona haven't really offered much at all. It's all rather disappointing in truth.
22' Rakitic fires a wayward effort towards goal as Barcelona's far from convincing performance continues. We haven't seen too much of Messi or Suarez so far, although the quality of the pair means that could change in the blink of an eye.
20' A blatant yellow card for Schar, the first player to be booked, after he hauls Coutinho back in the middle of the pitch.
18' Looking at the replay, it does seem the correct decision has been made. However, Deportivo may argue the final touch came off Busquets rather than the attacker. It's provided encouragement for the hosts though!
17' OFFSIDE! Big, big drama! Deportivo have the ball in the back of the net following a corner, with ter Stegen making a superb save to deny the header and it's fired home by Lucas Perez. After a long delay, the flag is raised!
14' Colak tumbles just inside the box and appeals for a penalty but the referee isn't interested. Seedorf will be very pleased with the reaction from his side in the past five minutes though.
12' Deportivo have responded well since falling behind, knocking the ball around well and putting Barcelona under pressure. The home support is driving them forward despite their struggles and the team is reacting well.
9' Exactly the start that Deportivo didn't want. They know the chances of avoiding relegation are incredibly slim but Clarence Seedorf would have at least wanted to get through the first period of the match without conceding.
7' Superb from Dembele, who was unfortunate not to be able to get a shot of his own away, but he had the composure to pick out his team-mate.
GOAL! That didn't take long! Barcelona's party begins! Dembele cuts the ball back to Coutinho just inside the area, who curls home towards the far post and gives Martinez no chance.
3' Barcelona settling into control swiftly, giving an indication as to what we can expect for the entirety of the match. The visitors already look dangerous.
1' KICK-OFF! We're underway at the ABANCA-Riazor, where Barcelona get us started.
Ernesto Valverde makes three changes to the side that started the Copa Del Rey final last week, bringing ter Stegen, Semedo and Dembele in. Cillessen and Iniesta drop to the bench, while Sergi Roberto misses out due to suspension.
Deportivo make two changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Levante last week, bringing in Valle and Krohn-Delhi. Mosquera drops to the bench, while Adrian Lopez, who has scored four of his side's last five LaLiga goals, misses out with a knock.
Barcelona subs: Jasper Cillessen, Aleix Vidal, Paco Alcacer, Denis Suarez, Paulinho, Andres Iniesta, Thomas Vermaelen.
Deportivo subs: Maksym Koval, Pedro Mosquera, Fernando Navarro, Sulley Muntari, Federico Valverde, Florin Andone, Fede Cartabia.
Barcelona XI: Marc-Andre ter Stegen; Nelson Semedo, Samuel Umtiti, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba; Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Philippe Coutinho; Ousmane Dembele, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi.
Deportivo XI: Ruben Martinez; Juanfran, Raul Albentosa, Fabian Schar, Luisinho; Guilherme; Celso Borges, Emre Colak, Michael Krohn-Delhi; Borja Valle, Lucas Perez.
Meanwhile, runaway leaders Barcelona have a chance to finally clinch the title and secure a double-winning campaign after beating Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey final last week. Just a point is needed to secure a 25th top-flight crown for the Catalan giants but they'll be expected to win.
Deportivo are staring relegation to the Segunda in the face but, mathematically at least, still have a chance to avoid the drop. To do that, they'll need to win all of their four remaining matches and hope Levante, who won against Sevilla on Friday night, don't pick up any more points. Anything but a victory tonight will see the hosts relegated.
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the LaLiga clash between Deportivo and Barcelona, a game that will have huge implications at both ends of the table.
