Minute   Description
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
Both teams take a small step towards securing their Premier League status with a point, but each will feel they deserved more. Watford were unlucky not to be ahead at half-time with Stefano Okaka hitting the crossbar, before a response from Crystal Palace in the second half saw them strike the woodwork twice. In the end it's a point a piece and probably a fair result, with neither side deserving to leave empty handed.
90'+3 FULL-TIME: WATFORD 0-0 CRYSTAL PALACE.
90'+2 Straight into the wall from Holebas as his free-kick strikes the arm of Loftus-Cheek. That's not a penalty, but it is a letdown for the Hornets.
90'+1 Ward gives the ball away on the edge of the penalty area and immediately commits a foul to try and win it back - but somehow he avoids a second booking! Could the resulting free-kick be the decisive moment for Watford?
90' There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.
89' An eighth yellow as Cathcart is booked! These sides have looked to break quickly when winning possession, and that's led to a number of cynical fouls.
88' Tomkins hacks down Richarlison at the halfway line as he goes into the book. That's seven yellows now in this match.
85' Full credit to these sides for the intensity shown throughout this match, especially on such a hot day. They've battled furiously throughout to try and find a breakthrough, and it's made for a very entertaining watch as a result. Now will there be a late twist in the tale? That remains to be seen...
81' Christian Benteke is on to try and win it for Palace, in what is very much an attacking change as McArthur is the one replaced.
79' A second Watford change sees Andre Gray replace Will Hughes.
78' Loftus-Cheek goes into the book now. That's six bookings in this match and still over 10 minutes to play.
76' Into the final 15 minutes now and it's wonderfully poised. Both sides are having an honest go at finding a winner, with the match surely there for the taking. We should be in for a grandstand finish.
72' LIFTED OVER! Not far away at all from Richarlison, who sprints onto the end of Hughes throughball and bends an effort inches over the bar from a tight angle! It's all picking up now!
70' Okaka has yet to play a full match this season for Watford and today is no different, as he gives way here for Kiko Femenia.
69' OFF THE POST! Another Palace corner here and this time Tomkins meets the delivery from Cabaye, but is incredibly unlucky to see his header smack off the inside of the post, before being scrambled clear! How is this match still goalless?!
67' Just shy of the 70 minute mark and Palace win themselves their first corner of the second half. Nothing comes of it, but they really have done a nice job of building pressure here. After a dormant first half in attack, they have completely turned things around since the restart.
63' A loud roar at Vicarage Road, the loudest of the afternoon, as Zaha finally sees yellow. He's been a villain in the eyes of these supporters today, and this will appease them, as he's given yellow for diving. Doucoure should like that as well.
62' OFF THE BAR! Milivojevic takes the free-kick and rattles it off the frame of the goal! That had Karnezis cleanly beaten, hitting virtually the same spot on the bar that Okaka hit in the first half.
61' Zaha is taken down on the edge of the penalty area now, as he's begun to take the match over. Mariappa is the culprit again, and he certainly has to be careful.
60' Zaha with a bit of trickery to get beyond Mariappa, who then pulls back on the attacker's shirt to stop a break. That's yellow for the Watford defender, as the bookings really start to pile up.
57' The referee has come under pressure for a number of decisions in this match, with players from both sides not shy about voicing their opinions. Okaka is dragged down by Tomkins, trying to get on the end of a ball over the top, but the referee gives a free-kick in Palace's favour for a handball!
55' Pereyra does come off here, with Richarlison the one to replace him.
54' Palace remain in the ascendancy here and Javi Gracia recognises it might be time for a change. Pereyra looks a bit worse for wear here, perhaps struggling for fitness after a stomach bug hit the team this week.
50' That looked a bad one! Karnezis comes out to collect a throughball and Zaha catches him dangerously as he sticks a leg out. Contact was minimal, but that was completely avoidable. He's lucky to have avoided yellow there.
48' It's Palace who start this second half on the front foot, with Zaha the focal point for them in attack. The forward gets heated following a duel with Capoue, as tensions are just starting to reach a boiling point here.
46' Here we go again!
Nothing to separate the sides through 45 minutes at Vicarage Road, despite Watford's best efforts. Stefano Okaka rattled an early header off the crossbar and Wayne Hennessey has been forced into a number of saves, while all has been quiet at the other end, with Crystal Palace struggling to get things going in attack.
45'+3 HALF-TIME: WATFORD 0-0 CRYSTAL PALACE.
45'+2 Van Aanholt is shown a yellow for dissent, throwing the ball into the ground for what he feels was a poor decision from the referee to end a rare Palace attack because of a foul committed by Cabaye.
45' There will be three minutes added on at the end of this first half.
43' Doucoure has lost his head a bit! Zaha goes down in the penalty area following a coming together with Kabasele, but there was clearly no foul and the referee agrees. Doucoure takes exception with what he feels was a dive by Zaha, and he sprints over from 15 yards away, shouting at Zaha and shoving him - not a smart decision from the midfielder who is already on a yellow.
41' Again now pressure is building on the Palace goal, with Ward having his hands full out wide. The full-back has lacked support and has had a very tough afternoon as a result. Again Pereyra takes him on here, and again Ward has to concede a corner.
39' Pereyra has been incredibly lively down that left flank, a good response from him after last week's shocking performance. He's been consistent in driving play forward and taking on defenders, calling Hennessey into action here with a lovely delivery in for Deeney that the keeper has to fist away.
35' The tempo has slowed a bit with Palace mounting a fight back. Still the visitors have generated nothing in attack, spending precious little time in the final third, with Karnezis yet to be called into action.
33' The rain has started here at Vicarage Road on this unseasonably hot April day in the UK. It's up above 20 degrees this afternoon, which had made for some excellent conditions for the supporters, but the rain has sort of put an end to that...
31' Another injury stoppage, this one with Palace skipper Milivojevic down and in need of attention. The training staff has been busy in this first half. We should see a good chunk of time added on at the end of this first half, as well.
29' That's real cynical from Doucoure who's cleanly beaten by Loftus-Cheek in midfield before sticking out a leg to drag him to ground. That's obviously a yellow card.
25' TWO CHANCES! Cathcart would be one of the more unlikely scorers, but he nearly puts Watford ahead here! The defender's initial header on the end of a corner is blocked, but it comes right back to him, only he fails to generate the necessary power with his subsequent shot, as Hennessey is able to make a simple save.
23' It's been one-way traffic at the halfway mark of this first half, with Watford all over Palace. You get the sense that the opening goal is imminent, with Palace struggling to find the intensity they need to combat this flying start from the hosts.
21' Ward escaped a caution a few minutes ago, but not this time. Again he fouls Pereyra and this time he goes into the referee's book. He's not had the best start to this match...
19' NEARLY AN OWN GOAL! Pressure intensifying on the Palace goal here, with the visitors playing far too sloppily in midfield. A second giveaway in a minute allows the hosts to break again and Deeney drives a low delivery across the six-yard box which is turned towards goal awkwardly by Ward, but Hennessey reacts vitally to keep it out!
15' Now Watford have an issue as Pereyra falls victim to a hard challenge from Ward, and the Hornets bench is far from happy as the Palace full-back is not shown a yellow card.
13' Van Aanholt gets up and is able to walk off under his own power. Play has resumed, and the full-back quickly scampers back out onto the pitch.
11' There's a stoppage in play here with Van Aanholt down following a hard collision with Deeney. The full-back seems to have injured his right leg - at least that's what the training staff is looking at. No discipline for Deeney, with the two players both going in hard for a 50-50 ball.
9' Crystal Palace have settled in a bit now, but they've been unable to match the energy levels of Watford, of which the hosts have plenty. They know the stakes tonight, with a victory guaranteeing their safety, and they're eager to get it.
5' OFF THE BAR! Lovely move from the Hornets who counter swiftly. Okaka sprays a ball out wide for Deeney, who returns the favour with a delicious cross for the striker, but Okaka's header strikes the bar and stays out, with Hennessey rooted to his spot!
3' DRAGGED WIDE! Watford start positively here, keen to get on the front foot and they do. Hughes produces a fine first touch to turn and tee himself up for a shot, but he drags that a few inches beyond the far post!
1' AND THEY'RE OFF! Watford in yellow as they get the match underway, with Crystal Palace in blue and red.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's the mantra Roy Hodgson has adopted today as he names an unchanged side from last weekend's 3-2 victory over Brighton.
Javi Gracia makes three changes from last weekend's defeat at Huddersfield Town. Sebastian Prodl misses out with a stomach virus, replaced by Christian Kabasele. Jose Holebas returns from injury at the expense of Daryl Janmaat, while Stefano Okaka makes just his third start of the season - first since December - as he leads the line tonight alongside Troy Deeney, with Kiko Femenia giving way.
SUBS: Speroni, Sorloth, Lee, Wan-Bissaka, Kelly, Riedewald.
CRYSTAL PALACE (4-4-2): Hennessey; Ward, Tomkins, Sakho, Van Aanholt; McArthur, Milivojevic, Cabaye, Loftus-Cheek; Townsend, Zaha.
SUBS: Gomes, Janmaat, Britos, Richarlison, Sinclair, Gray, Femenia.

CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
Palace, on the other hand, have turned a corner over the last month to pull themselves out of the thick of the relegation scrap. Seven points from their last four has helped relieve the pressure and cue up what appears to be a cheerful final month of the campaign.
It’s hard to imagine Watford slumping into the drop zone, but they’re not helping their cause right now with just one point from their last five. They visit Tottenham and Manchester United, while hosting red-hot Newcastle, to close out the season, so this may be their best chance at avoiding disaster.
Three points and four places separate these sides in the table. At 37 points Watford sit in 12th place, with Crystal Palace in 16th at 34 points, with the bottom three at a distance in the rear-view mirror, but not yet fully out of sight.
Safety beckons for both these sides this afternoon – Watford surely will avoid the drop with three points, and Crystal Palace taking a massive step towards their own survival should they walk away with a victory.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this Premier League match as Watford welcome Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road!
