Minute   Description
And that's it! Huddersfield see out a fantastic result against West Brom at home. Van La Parra got the goal that won the game with a sensational long-range strike in the first half after a quick free-kick, but a second yellow card for Schindler in the second half gave the momentum to the Baggies. However, the home side rallied and held on for a dramatic victory, with Lossl the hero at the end with a handful of exceptional saves that preserved the win for his side! Huddersfield win 1-0 at home, and continue their excellent start to their maiden Premier League season.
90'+6 Lossl claims a high ball over Hegazi, but West Brom pile the pressure on again for the final minute. It's fruitless though, and that looks like it's going to be that!
90'+5 McClean loses his head as he crunches an offside Ince, and remonstrates with both the referee and the crowd. Frustration got the better of him there.
90'+2 CHANCE! What a chance for West Brom! Lossl does incredibly well to keep out a McClean header, before tipping a Phillips drive through a crowd wide! Exceptional saves that may well have preserved all three points for his side!
90'+1 There are SIX minutes of stoppage time here. Can West Brom find something at the death?
90' West Brom are furious as Livermore is penalised for a challenge on Lowe. It looked a fair challenge, but the referee gives Huddersfield a free-kick and, with it, some breathing space.
88' West Brom are camped on the edge of the Huddersfield area, and Rondon is caught offside from a ball into the area, with Phillips - who was onside - just behind him! Poor communication there.
87' Chants of 'we want Pulis out' from the visiting fans as they watch their side struggle against 10-man Huddersfield. Be careful what you wish for.
85' Huddersfield have a break on, but they can't make the most of it and West Brom win it back. Five minutes of normal time left now.
83' Lossl looks okay to continue, however, and the game goes on. Phillips wins a free-kick, but it comes to nothing.
82' Lossl goes down after a collision with Phillips, and this could reduce the home side to nine men and end the game with an outfield player in goal! They've used all their substitutions, and it's not a good situation to be in.
81' West Brom now have less than 10 minutes of normal time in which to find a breakthrough. Despite having an extra man for most of the second half, the Baggies have really struggled to create clear cut openings and impose themselves on the game in an offensive sense.
79' Löwe comes on for Malone in the closing stages. The German is a more conservative left-back, and they'll need his defensive nous to see out the last portion of the game.
76' Barry finds Nyom in acres on the right, but his cross is poor and can't find any of four West Brom shirts in the box. Huddersfield try and break, but Mooy's ball into the box is straight to Foster. The Terriers look slightly exposed now, but Mooy gets back well, before Rodriguez flashes one wide of the post from outside the area.
74' CHANCE! Evans whips the ball in to Rodon, whose stooping near post header is just wide of the upright! He did well to get to it ahead of Cranie, but needed to hit the target really.
73' Ince is doing his best to support Depoitre in attack, and the hosts are doing their best to push forward still, but their man disadvantage is really hurting their pressing style when they leave their half.
70' Williams picks up a yellow card for a silly challenge on the West Brom right. Phillips takes the free-kick, but Mooy heads clear.
66' West Brom are utterly dominating possession now, with Huddersfield retreating deep into their own half and resorting to a half-press in order to keep their visitors at arms' length.
62' And goalscorer Van La Parra is also removed for central midfielder Williams, as Wagner looks to provide some more solidity and protect their lead. They're playing a 4-4-1 at the moment, with a midfielder having to shuffle out wide.
61' Kachunga is replaced by Cranie, who is in to plug the gap left by Schindler in the centre of defence.
59' And centre-back McAuley is replaced by another wide-man in Phillips, seeing a shift in formation for the home side to 4-4-2.
Robson-Kanu is replaced by Rondón as Pulis makes the first change of what will be a triple-substitution to change the game for his side.
Krychowiak is sacrificed in central midfield for wide-man McClean in the second change.
57' RED CARD! Hegazy does really well to step out with the ball at his feet from defence, getting past several challenges before drawing a foul from Schindler, who sees a second yellow and is off! Silly challenge from the defender, it was in the centre circle and he was never favourite for that ball. That's changed the complexion of the game for the rest of this second half now!
56' Livermore tries to loft the ball through for Nyom, but it's asking a lot of him and it goes out for a goal-kick.
53' Barry goes in hard to try and win the ball back after Hadergjonaj tackles Gibbs, but it's clearly a foul. Barry's enraged reaction, however, probably played more of a part in the booking than the foul itself.
51' Hegazi wins the ball well from Ince, and West Brom hold onto the ball for a decent spell as they try and probe for an opening in the Huddersfield defence.
48' Replays of the build-up to the goal show that the tangle between Rodriguez and Hogg that resulted in the quick free-kick should really have gone the other way! However, Huddersfield made the most of their advantage, while the Baggies switched off.
46' Huddersfield get us back underway for the second half!
And that's half-time! Both teams have looked threatening on occasion in their different styles, but it's Huddersfield who go into half-time with the lead after a spectacular effort from Van La Parra. West Brom switched off from a foul in the centre, but Mooy was alert to play it through quickly, before Van La Parra stunned the visitors by finding the top corner from 25 yards with a lovely curling, dipping effort. It's 1-0 to Huddersfield at the break.
44' GOAL! What a goal from Van La Parra!! A free-kick is taken quickly by Mooy into the Malone on the left, and it's worked to Van La Parra, who curls the ball right into the top-right corner from outside the box! It wasn't blasted, just perfectly placed into the top corner, giving Foster no chance! It's 1-0 to Huddersfield!
Malone loves to get forward from left-back and does so to great effect here, laying Van La Parra off around 25 yards from goal, but it's all about the Dutchman from there, who has an awful lot to do before finding the back of the net, but he does so spectacularly!
Huddersfield's three attacking midfielders have all looked bright today, and have worked hard to win their 50-50s as well.
42' West Brom take their time about things as Huddersfield's intensity drops a little. Perhaps both teams have half an eye on the half-time whistle.
39' Nyom tussles with Kachunga in the corner, and the Huddersfield man hits the deck. The referee gives a throw West Brom's way, but Kachunga was hoping for a second yellow for the opposing full-back!
38' Nyom makes another cynical foul, and needs to be careful if he is to avoid being sent off here.
36' CHANCE! It's Ince again, who take the ball in and tries to find the top corner on the swivel, but it's just too low and Foster holds on. At the other end, Rodriguez races through in the box, but he's forced wide by the Terriers defence and eventually fires a tame shot at Lossl, who isn't tested by the near-post effort.
35' Nyom is booked for a wild attempt at a tackle, getting none of the ball in the process.
32' CHANCE! Mooy's initial delivery from a corner is poor, but it's flicked into the path of Ince on the penalty spot in acres of space, but he blasts it over the bar! Gibbs does brilliantly to close him down though, and put him off his strike.
31' Van La Parra drives between Krychowiak and Hegazi by the left corner of the box, and his momentum takes him into the Egyptian defender and onto the floor. Hegazi is, somewhat harshly, booked for his part in proceedings.
30' Robson-Kanu gets away without a yellow card for a very cynical challenge on Ince, hauling him down and catching the back of his ankle as he got away down the left.
28' West Brom are doing well to get the ball forward quickly when they do get it, but their ball retention in the final third has been lacking somewhat, which is letting them down when they get into good positions.
25' Huddersfield pile on the pressure, but Nyom works hard to hold them up on his flank before a loose ball is seized upon and flung down the line for Robson-Kanu to chase. Schindler knows he's losing the race, and goes into the book for holding on to the Wales forward and preventing him from getting away.
23' Gibbs gets forward well on the left, and shows nice skill to hold the ball up while he waits for support, eventually feeding it to Barry to cross, but Lossl is there to catch it.
22' CHANCE! Robson-Kanu plays Rodriguez in behind as West Brom's tactics pay dividends. Lossl thinks about coming out, but backs off, and it's only a last-ditch, sliding block from Schindler that keeps Rodriguez's curling effort from finding the inside of the far post!
21' Zanka plays a lovely ball out of defence into the run of Ince, but he just misreads the flight of the ball and can't get a touch on it, and it runs through to Foster.
19' West Brom are really setting up more as a 5-3-2 rather than a 3-5-2, ceding possession to Huddersfield and looking to isolate their centre-backs in 2-v-2 situations with their two front-men. They are sitting back, but looking to get the ball forward quickly when they do get it.
18' Robson-Kanu chases a misplaced header from Zanka after another good ball from Barry, but Lossl gets there just in time to collect it and quell the danger.
17' CHANCE! Ince strikes one sweetly towards the bottom corner, but Foster deals with it comfortably and hangs on. Good save from the Englishman.
14' Hogg plays Hadergjonaj down the right, but his cross his tame and cleared away. Soon after, Van La Parra takes a tumble in the area under close attention from Gibbs, but referee Roger East is not interested, and replays show the former Arsenal man won the ball.
13' Barry floats a lovely first-time ball into the box under pressure, but neither Rodriguez nor Robson-Kanu read it and it bounces harmlessly behind for a goal kick. A real wasted opportunity.
12' CHANCE! Mooy twists and turns on the left, and does excellently to get away from his man and deliver the ball into the box. It's cleared away, but Huddersfield work it to Van La Parra, who cuts inside and curls one just over the top left corner with his left foot from outside the box!
11' West Brom get back quickly to make a solid back five, and defend well, conceding a corner.
8' Mooy's delivery from a corner is poor, and West Brom try to hit their hosts on the break. Both sides definitely looking to play on the counter-atack here.
7' West Brom win another corner, but Lossl is out well to claim Barry's delivery and send his team on their way out for a counter-atack.
5' It's hammer and tongs at the moment, with both sides going for each other with some conviction. There's a directness to both their styles of play, and it's made for a bright start to the game.
3' CHANCE! Gibbs picks off a loose pass and sends Rodriguez on his way for a counter-attack. His eventual cross from the right earns his side a corner, which Hegazi can only head into a Huddersfield body! It's cleared away, and Huddersfield survive.
1' And we're off! West Brom get us underway.
Huddersfield however, make three changes, with Elias Kachunga an attacking alteration, coming in for Danny Williams, and both full-backs are rotated. Phillip Billing, Michael Hefele and Kasey Palmer all remain sidelined, however.
Summer signing Oliver Burke is left out of the squad despite returning to full fitness for West Brom, while James Morrison and Craig Dawson remain sidelined through injury. Hal Robson-Kanu for Salomon Rondon up front is the only change from the side that narrowly lost to league leaders Manchester City 3-2.
Only Jay Rodriguez has scored more than one league goal for the visitors so far the season, with seven other players notching one apiece. Huddersfield, however, have only three goalscorers this season, with Steve Mounie, Laurent Depoitre and Aaron Mooy scoring two each (as well as one own goal).
Tony Pulis' side also have the oldest average starting XI this season in the Premier League at 29 years, 161 days old. Their starting lineup against Manchester City was the oldest in the Premier League so far this season (30y 177d).
Huddersfield have failed to score in six of their last eight Premier League games, after netting four goals in their opening two. Meanwhile, West Brom's back-to-back victories at the start of this Premier League season were the club's only Premier League wins in their last 19 (D6 L11). In fact, the Baggies have won the exact same number of points after 10 Premier League games of the season as they did last term (10) - they ended that campaign in 10th.
This is the first-ever Premier League meeting between the two sides, and their last meeting was in the third round of the 2009/10 FA Cup, West Brom winning 2-0. Their last league meeting was in the 2000/01 season in the Championship, and their last top-flight meeting was in the 1971/72 season.
Both Huddersfield and West Brom come into this game in similar form, having lost their previous games to Premier League big boys Liverpool and Manchester City, respectively. In fact, they have had almost identical seasons so far. They both started strongly, going unbeaten in the month of August, winning their first three competitive fixtures and drawing the fourth. However, they have both endured difficult patches since then, with West Brom winless since that third competitive fixture - a League Cup victory over Accrington Stanley. Huddersfield, too, have struggled since their own League Cup victory against Rotherham, failing to pick up a win in September. However, the Terriers recorded a famous 2-1 victory over Manchester United, a result that separates the two sides in the table at present.
