Commentary

Minute   Description
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Leicester were poor this evening, but had done the work necessary to qualify as group winner before tonight. They were below-par, but Ranieri will not be that bothered by the result given the amount of changes he made to his team, leaving many of his key players at home.
Porto secure their place in the knockout phase of the competition with an emphatic victory over an understrength Leicester City side this evening. A brace from Andre Silva along with strikes from Diego Jota, Yacine Brahimi and Jesus Corona were enough to secure the three points that puts the Portuguese outfit in the draw.
FULL-TIME: PORTO 5-0 LEICESTER CITY
90'+3 The referee ends the contest.
90'+2 OVER! Herrera escapes the attention of Morgan down the flank and cuts the ball back for Jota in the middle, but the striker can only blast his strike over the bar.
90' There will be three minutes of added time.
88' OFF THE BAR! From the resulting set-piece Ulloa wins the ball in the air and it falls kindly for him to strike at the second attempt, but his shot cannons off the crossbar and goes over the bar.
86' Leicester are not giving up on a consolation goal as they win a corner on the right flank as Herrera is forced to send the ball behind under pressure.
83' The home side go for the sixth, but attempt one intricate pass too many and the ball trickles out for a goal-kick to the visitors.
81' Porto are in cruise control now and just have to see this game out for the remaining nine minutes, but Santos will be desperate to finish with a clean sheet.
78' Pedro replaces Silva for the home side.
77' Silva continues his impressive display with a fine throughball for Jota to score.
GOAL!!!!! Porto make it five as Silva releases the run of Jota inside the box with a sublime throughball and the forward simply smashes his strike through Hamer's legs into the net. An easy goal for the home side.
76' Neves replaces Danilo in the Porto midfield.
Barnes makes his first senior appearance for the Foxes, replacing Drinkwater.
Corona is withdrawn for Herrera for the home side.
Gray cuts in from the left and curls a cross towards the back post. The ball looks to be creeping into the bottom corner, but Casillas watches the ball all the way into his hands.
74' Porto move the ball around with ease in the final third, exchanging several passes before Telles strikes at goal, only to see his effort blocked by Wasilewski.
Drinkwater has return to the pitch and appears to be ok for now.
73' Corona and Pereira link up in the final third and for once the full-back's final ball is poor as it travels straight through to the keeper.
72' Drinkwater is helped off the pitch and this will be a huge blow for Leicester if he is seriously hurt.
70' Drinkwater takes a knock to the knee and he appears to be in some discomfort as he has treatment on the pitch.
68' Gray tries to weave his way into the box, but his eventual shot from a tight angle is blocked by Marcano, allowing the home side to clear.
66' Danilo goes down after turning his ankle tracking back. He requires treatment before we can continue here.
64' GOAL!!!! SILVA MAKES IT FOUR! The striker keeps his cool from 12 yards as he dispatches his kick into the bottom corner, sending Hamer the wrong way. As cool as you like from Silva.
63' PENALTY TO PORTO! Drinkwater pulls back Silva and the referee awards a spot-kick to the home side.
61' CHANCE! Brahimi surges through the middle of the Leicester midfield and has space and time to consider his options. He decides to go for goal and strikes his effort low towards the net, but Hamer makes a comfortable save.
60' OFFSIDE! Leicester win back possession and break on the home side. Drinkwater raids into space on the left flank and he sends a dangerous cross into the box, but as Okazaki makes contact with his header the linesman's flag is raised for offside.
59' Silva gets dragged down to the ground by Morgan in the Leicester half, allowing the home side to ramp up the pressure on the Foxes' goal.
57' Corona releases Pereira with a pass into the inside right channel, but the ball just has too much pace for the full-back to reach as it trickles over the touch-line for a goal-kick.
54' CHANCE! Jota collects a pass on the edge of the box and turns Wasilewski with ease. He shoots across goal with his left foot, but can only watch as his effort creeps inches wide of the target.
52' Porto are trying to establish their possession game once again in the second half. Leicester's half knocked them out of their rhythm, but they're doing their utmost to regain their dominance.
50' Gray has space on the edge of the box and he tries to slide a pass into Okazaki's feet, but his pass gets cut out. He collects and goes for the strike, but can only pull his effort wide of the post.
49' Leicester definitely have come out for the second period with more intent than the first, but they need to get a goal back in the near future to have any hope of getting back into the game.
47' CHANCE! Better start to the half from the Foxes as Okazaki and Gray combine in the final third, but the winger sends his strike over the bar.
46' Schlupp makes way at the interval for Albrighton.
Ulloa replaces Musa for the visitors.
We're back underway in this Champions League clash.
The players are making their way out on to the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
Porto are in complete control of this contest, taking a 3-0 lead into the break against Leicester City. Goals from Andre Silva, Jesus Corona and Yacine Brahimi have Nuno Santo's men on their way to the knockout phase of the competition against an understrength Foxes outfit this evening.
HALF-TIME: PORTO 3-0 LEICESTER CITY
45'+1 The referee ends the first half.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
44' Pereira makes a good run down the flank and finds Brahimi at the near post to convert Porto's third of the evening.
GOAL!!!!! BRAHIMI NOTCHES A THIRD FOR PORTO! The midfielder scores a sublime goal at the near post, flicking Pereira's cross with his heel beyond Hamer and into the net. It was far too easy for the home side, who are surely on their way to the three points this evening.
42' Corona continues to trouble the visitors with his pace and skill down the left, but this time his cross is cleared to the edge of the box. Torres seizes on the loose ball, but can only scuff his effort into the ground, allowing Hamer to make a comfortable save.
39' CHANCE! Telles takes the free-kick and strikes his left-footed effort over the wall, but it proves to be just a fraction too high to trouble Hamer.
38' Chilwell goes into the book for his foul on Silva.
Silva gets wiped out off the ball by Chilwell and the home side have another chance to exert pressure on the Foxes' goal from the resulting free-kick 30 yards from goal.
36' WIDE! Jota gets played in behind by Torres and he manages to turn to play a reverse into Brahimi's feet. He takes a touch to get the ball on his right foot before firing at goal, only to send his effort well wide of the post.
34' Corona sends his cross to the back post for Silva, but Hamer goes off his line to claim. The keeper loses his grip on the ball and for a second it drops in the box, but he is alert to pounce and gather before a blue and white shirt can react.
32' Corona weaves his way past a challenge from Drinkwater in the final third, but then gets clattered by Mendy. The home side now have a free-kick 30 yards from goal.
30' A wasted free-kick from Leicester as they fail to put pressure on the hosts, and their attack ends with Schlupp failing to win a set-piece on the edge of the box. Casillas clears the danger from a goal-kick, which is his first touch of the ball.
29' Musa makes Leicester's first threatening run forward down the left inside channel, but he gets brought down hy Pereira, handing the Foxes a free-kick 40 yards from goal.
28' Porto are in complete control of this match and Leicester are in a real battle to keep the scoreline respectable as the home side have been encamped in their half since the opening whistle.
26' Telles does well to beat Schlupp before sending a cross deep to the back post for Corona to convert.
GOAL!!! CORONA NETS A STUNNER! Porto double their lead this evening as Corona latches on to Telles' cross at the back post and he takes his strike on first time on the volley, blasting his strike straight into the corner. A sublime finish.
23' CHANCE! Silva and Pereira combine inside the box, allowing the former to shoot at goal but with Red shirts massed on the edge of the box. Due to the pressure from the visitors' defence he can only fire his effort over the bar.
21' OVER! Silva knocks the ball back to Danilo on the edge of the box and the midfielder strikes an effort at goal first time on the half-volley, but he sends his attempt well over the bar.
20' Drinkwater has to be watchful at the back as Corona tries to send a throughball into Pereira's feet on a forward run inside the box, but the England man clears at the last second.
18' Danilo attempts to send a long ball over the top of Jota's run, but the ball just skips off the surface and bounces into Hamer's hands.
17' It's all too easy for the home side at the moment as Leicester are sitting off the Portuguese outfit in possession, resulting in them being pushed further and further back towards their own goal.
16' Brahimi is allowed space and time on the left flank to knock a dangerous cross towards the penalty spot, but fortunately for the visitors Morgan is there to clear with an excellent header.
13' The Foxes are hanging on at the moment at the back. Porto are well on top and are knocking the ball around with relative ease in the final third.
12' CHANCE! Telles hits a beauty of a cross into the box that just evades the head of Silva at the near post. Corona gathers at the back stick and sends the ball back across, but it falls to a red shirt rather than a blue and white one, allowing Leicester to clear.
10' Leicester are struggling to get close to the home side at the moment. Porto are dominating possession and are pulling the visitors' defence out of position at the back.
8' CHANCE! Jota turns Wasilewski with ease on the half-way line and he surges towards the edge of the box before firing at goal. His effort troubles Hamer who gets down to dive to his right, but the ball trickles past the post.
6' GOAL!!! PORTO TAKE THE LEAD! The home side go ahead as Corona lifts the ball in from the right and Silva gets the better of Schlupp in the box before directing his header low into the corner past a stranded Hamer on his line.
Corona lifts a pinpoint cross into the box which is converted by Silva.
5' Porto win a corner down the right as Pereira knocks the ball off Gray's legs. Corona plays the ball short to Brahimi who turns his man and shoots at goal, but Hamer can only parry the ball out for another set-piece.
4' Drinkwater makes another intervention down the left flank as Brahimi attempts to link up with Telles, but the England midfielder snuffs out the danger.
2' The home side begin the contest on the front foot and Brahimi slides the ball into the feet of Silva on the edge of the box, but Drinkwater gets a foot in to prevent the striker from making further inroads.
1' We're underway in this Champions League clash.
There will be a minute's silence in memory of the members of the Chapecoense team that were killed in a plane crash in Colombia last week.
The players are making their way out on to the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have been left out of the squad completely to focus on their form in the Premier League, with the Foxes having already wrapped up the group. Nampalys Mendy has returned to fitness and makes just his second start for the club in the heart of the midfield.
Ranieri has rung the changes from his side's defeat to Sunderland, with only skipper Wes Morgan retaining his place. Ben Hamer, Luis Hernandez, Marcin Wasilewski, Danny Drinkwater, Nampalys Mendy, Jeffrey Schlupp, Demarai Gray, Ben Chilwell, Shinji Okazaki and Ahmed Musa all come into the fold this evening.
Porto have made two changes from their side that beat Sporting Braga 1-0 at the weekend. Otavinho and Miguel Layun drop out of the starting line-up, with Alex Telles and Yacine Brahimi replacing them in the team.
Leicester subs: Simpson, Zieler, Barnes, Fuchs, Albrighton, Amartey, Ulloa.
LEICESTER (4-4-2): Hamer; Hernandez, Wasilewski, Morgan, Chilwell; Gray, Mendy, Drinkwater, Schlupp; Musa, Okazaki.
Porto subs: Neves, Layun, Evandro, Herrera, Boly, Sousa, Sa.
PORTO (4-1-3-2): Casillas; Pereira, Felipe, Marcano, Telles; Danilo; Corona, Torres, Brahimi; Silva, Jota.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Leicester have already qualified for the knockout phase in first place, which will see them land a second-placed side in the round-of-16. Their form in the Champions League has been outstanding and given Claudio Ranieri and his players respite from their struggles in the Premier League this term.
Porto need a win this evening to be sure of their place in the knockout stage of the competition. They currently hold a two-point advantage over third-placed Copenhagen, but a defeat for the home side and a win for a Danish outfit would see Nuno Santo's men eliminated from the tournament.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Champions League clash between Porto and Leicester City at the Estadio Do Dragao.
