Minute   Description
Thanks very much for joining us this afternoon and we hope you enjoyed this entertaining match. Hope to see you again soon! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
PSG are undoubtedly the best team in this division and will ultimately be judged on how they progress in the Champions League but Laurent Blanc will be very pleased with the professional manner his side went about their business. The only blot on their copy book was the shock last minute goal for Troyes, that said the PSG manager won't be unduly concerned - it was very comfortable for his side, particularly after the penalty in the second half.
Well, it was the result we all expected and PSG duly obligated. They won at an absolute canter this afternoon and you feel that they could have scored more if they had wanted to up the tempo a little more at times. Di Maria and Moura's pace and trickery was a constant problem that Troyes had no answers to. Ibrahimovic and Cavani will be pleased to get amongst the goals but may feel that they could have had more if the final ball had been better.
90'+2 Full time here at the Parc des Princes. PSG 4-1 Troyes.
90'+1 Jimmy Cabot has refused to let his head drop and has tried to get the ball forward whenever he can. Cabot kept the move alive and played a simple pass that allowed Ayasse to get Troyes on the scoresheet.
GOAL! 4-1 it may only be a consolation but it will mean the world to Thomas Ayasse who's looping shot from outside the box finds its way into the top corner of Kevin Trapp's net. Lovely goal and it is nice for Troyes to have something to show for their efforts.
90' 'La Marseille' is belted out by the PSG faithful and is followed by loud chants of Je Suis Paris ring out around the stadium. Today has been an opportunity for Parisians to use sport as a way of griefing and trying to move on.
88' Offside! Ibrahimovic thought he had broken the Troyes offside and clipped the ball over the onrushing Bernardoni but the ball just drifted past the post. It wouldn't have counted in any case.
86' It is difficult to be too hard on plucky Troyes who have certainly given it a good go today they have simply come up against one of the finest teams in European football and haven't been able to come with some of the world class talent they are up against. Confidence is obviously low and conceding twenty minutes in made life incredibly difficult.
84' Di Maria has been absolutely everywhere today and grabs his second assist of the afternoon. This time the nippy winger lays the ball off to Augustin who lashes the ball home right footed.
GOAL! 4-0! Augustin makes it four and the rout is complete! PSG have been rather toying with Troyes since going 3-0 up and the substitute nets with a low drive from just outside the area. Bernardoni will not want to see this again as the ball flies through his legs. It was a fierce strike but the goalkeeper has to do better there.
82' PSG have a freekick very much in Zlatan teritory. Ibrahimovic gets the ball through the wall via a deflection and forces a corner for his side. Di Maria takes the set piece but his outswinging corner is not particularly accurate and runs out of play for a throw in.
80' The scorer of the games opening goal Edinson Cavani's work this evening is done and he comes off to a warm reception from the PSG faithful. Augustin will take his place for the last 10 minutes or so.
77' Fabien Camus has been a willing runner for the Troyes cause but simply hasn't had enough of the ball in the right areas to be a consistent threat he comes off for Jimmy Cabot.
75' OVER! Di Maria pops up on the right wing that has been vacated by Moura and drives inside onto his favoured left foot, the winger tries to smash the ball into the top corner but only finds the PSG fans sat behind the goal.
73' Troyes, unsuprisingly look a beaten outfit now and it will be a procession towards the 90 minute mark. Everyone is looking to get in on the act as far as PSG are concerned and Di Maria especially seems to fancy a goal for himself.
71' Half a chance for PSG to make it four and something happens that you don't see very often - Zlatan Ibrahimovic slipping at the vital moment. The Swedish striker had pulled to left of the penalty area to give himself some space. Motta then wasted no time in giving PSG's number ten the ball and just when it looked like a shot on goal was the inevitable outcome his standing foot gave way.
69' The likes of Cavani and Ibrahimovic must smell blood now against the bottom side in Ligue 1. The PSG hitmen could really fill their boots in the last twenty minutes or so if the hunger is there.
67' GOAL! 3-0 to PSG! This is surely game, set and match for the Parisians now. Van der Wiel's deep cross is headed away but only as far Kurzawa who lashes an unstoppable volley into the bottom corner. Fantastic strike from the defender.
66' Moura played the full 90 minutes away against Malmo on Wednesday night and Laurent Blanc has decided that now is the right time to give him a rest and introduce the energetic Matuidi to the game.
Mavinga had been walking a bit of a tighrope since being booked in the first half so it is no surprise to see him replaced by Dabo.
Laurent Blanc makes his first alteration of the day with Adrien Rabiot coming off to be replaced by the experienced Thiago Motta in the defensive midfield position. A straight swap there for PSG.
63' Again Troyes make a bit of progress and get the ball to the deadball line but the result is the same. This time it is Darbion who overhits his cross out of play. The away side really can't afford to waste such chances to put PSG under some pressure.
61' Troyes react to falling two goals behind by replacing their skipper Nivet with Court. The substitute is then on the ball almost instantly and makes a driving run down the left wing. He looks to stand the ball up at the far post but his cross is overhit and wayward and goes out harmlessly for a goal kick.
60' Is there any way back for Troyes now? It will truly be one of the most miraculous comebacks of recent history in Ligue 1 if they can salvage anything from this match. There is however plenty of time for the visitors to claw themselves back into contention.
58' GOAL! 2-0 TO PSG! Was there ever any doubt? The mercurial Zlatan Ibrahimovic never looked like missing from twelve yards and duly despatched the spot kick, sending Bernardoni the wrong way. Game over?
PENALTY TO PSG! Ibrahimovic totally bamboozles the Troyes defence with a wonderous reverse pass that releases Moura, who is then upended by Mavinga. A very straightforward decision there, definite penalty.
56' SAVE! PSG are beginning to turn the screw here with Ibrahimovic orchestrating proceedings. This time it is Lucas Moura who dips inside from the right wing and curls a left-footed shot at goal but it is at a nice height and is easily parried away to safety.
54' WIDE! Another excellent overlapping run from Kurzawa gets him in behind the Troyes rearguard. The PSG left back cuts the ball back to the area for the waiting Moura who controls the pass well despite it being a little bit behind him. The Brazilian then swivels and fires a shot towards goal but his connection isn't clean and the ball is scuffed past the post.
52' PSG are playing very narrow at times when they go forward and it is means they are trying to pass it through the eye of a needle. Troyes are holding a good shape and are looking to be as compact as possible. Defending the width of the penalty area very well so far in this half. Lucas Moura in particular would be better off staying wider and looking to stretch the backline.
50' Rabiot tries to set PSG on a breakway but the move breaks down when Cavani gifts the ball back to the opposition. Sloppy play there as they had numbers breaking forward in that attack.
48' The second half is starting off very much in the same vein as the first. Troyes are very content to let their opponents have the ball in non-threatening areas. PSG meanwhile continue to be probing and patient, waiting for their chance to play the killer ball.
46' PSG get the game restarted. The home fans are making a terrific noise now, probably to get warm as much as anything else. It is a very chilly evening here in Paris!
Troyes' gameplan you would imagine would be to try and keep things tight in the first 10-15 minutes of the second half and then look to hit PSG on the break. Their front four of Jean, Nivet, Darbion and Camus have looked lively at times, their pace and movement has worried Silva and Luiz on occasion. The players are just beginning to emerge from the tunnel and the second half will get underway shortly.
A second goal for PSG would almost certainly settle this game as a contest but the longer it stays at 1-0 the more Troyes will fancy their chances of snatching something and pulling off a shock result. Laurent Blanc certainly has a few options to choose from if he wants to freshen things up with Motta, Maxwell and Matuidi waiting in the wings.
It has been a curious half in many ways, PSG as you would expect have dominated possession and territory but Troyes have shown just enough going forward that a 1-0 scoreline may not be safe for the home side. At times the match has been played at an almost friendly pace but when the Parisians up the tempo and move the ball at pace their opponents look unable to live with them.
45'+1 Half time at the Parc des Princes. PSG 1-0 Troyes.
There is barely time to take the resulting corner which is cleared.
45' OVER! Di Maria in typical side carries the ball a long distance and with terrific pace towards the opposition goal. Cavani makes a good run out wide and the Argentinian international uses him. Cavani then turns his man inside out and does brilliantly to work it onto his left foot but with the goal at his mercy he smashes the ball straight down the middle of the goal and it is turned over the crossbar for a corner.
43' After going through a bit of a lull it's fair to say that PSG are looking to finish the first half strongly. They are playing with a lot more zip and purpose and it is causing Troyes no end of problems, particularly out wide.
41' SHOT! Ibrahimovic has his first real sight of goal but can only find the side of Bernardoni's net from the inside right channel. The talismanic Swede dropped the shoulder and unleashed a fierce drive but couldn't get his shot on target.
39' It seemed for all the world that PSG would kick on after doing the hard part in breaking the deadlock but going behind has relaxed Troyes and they have come out of their defensive shell. The away side have absolutely nothing to lose at this point.
37' SAVE! Camus splits the PSG defence open with a beautiful time and weighted pass. Darbion is onto it in a flash and tries to steer home the equaliser but Trapp spreads himself well and makes a good stop. Much better from Troyes.
35' PSG have lost a bit of rhythm to the game in the last few minutes and it has allowed Troyes to get on the ball a bit more and try to impose themselves. Laurent Blanc will want to see Rabiot and Stambouli be a bit more commanding in the centre of the park.
33' Johan Martial has shown plenty of adventure from right back for Troyes and nearly breaks the PSG back line after playing a clever one-two with Darbion. Unfortunately, for the visitors he mistimes his run and is clearly offside.
31' Troyes are just enjoying their best spell of possession in this contest and Nivet has been crucial to the away side getting a foothold in the game. The Troyes playmaker has been busy on and off the ball, looking to create some much needed time and space for his teammates.
29' Chris Mavinga becomes the first player to be cautioned and it is a very simple decision for the referee to make. The Troyes left back absolutely clattered Lucas Moura as the winger looked to race past him.
28' The PSG full backs are really starting to cause problems for the Troyes back line and are creating a lot of two-on-one situations out wide. Troyes for their part look simply unable to stem the tide of attacks at the moment. More goals for the home side look inevitable.
26' Ibrahimovic is rather unceremoniously left in a heap in the inside left channel after a pretty robust challenge. Di Maria takes the set piece and is convinced that PSG should have a penalty for handball after his freekick strikes the wall. . The referee however is unmoved. It would have been a very harsh decision in my opinion.
24' You suspect that the biggest dangers for PSG this afternoon are set pieces and complacency. The home team are totally controlling the pace and tempo of this match and you feel that they can score at will if they go through the gears quickly enough. I would suggest that it might be a case of damage limitation for Troyes even this early on.
22' SHOT! An attempt almost in anger and frustration rather than with any genuine conviction from Troyes centre forward Corentin Jean goes whistling over Trapp's crossbar.
20' GOAL! Cavani breaks the deadlock 1-0 to PSG! Di Maria has been at the heart of every attack so far for the home side and it is therefore no surprise that he is involved in the games opening goal. The former Manchester United winger picked out Cavani with a pinpoint cross and the Uruguayan striker made no mistake with a left foot volley.
The PSG number 11 seems to be recapturing his Real Madrid form since moving to the French capital. Di Maria pinged a lovely diagonal ball from left to right and Cavani did the rest.
19' Not one but two chances for PSG to take the lead but they are denied by some brilliant last ditch defending from Troyes. First Thiago Silva sees his header cleared off the line after being left totally unmarked from Di Maria's corner. The ball was then cleared back to the Argentine winger whose cross looked destined to be tapped in by van der Wiel but it was diverted away by Saunier.
17' The atmosphere inside the Parc des Princes is as you might expect a little odd given recent events. It goes through moments of almost complete silence before being punctured by chants from the PSG faithful.
15' Cavani and Ibrahimovic have seen precious little of the ball so far as the threat for PSG has all come down the flanks. Laurent Blanc will want to see his prinicple goal getters much more involved.
13' More neat interplay down the left hand side for Paris Saint Germain so nearly leads to an opening for the left back Kurzawa who combines well with Di Maria but the one-two is a little heavy and Bernardoni rushes off his line to snuff out the danger.
11' The resulting Troyes corner comes to nothing and PSG look to mount a counter attack in response. Right back van der Wiel bursts in the box and goes down after seemingly being bodychecked. The home fans howl for a spot kick but there is nothing doing from the referee.
9' CHANCE! Out of nowhere Camus almost give Troyes a shock lead. The midfielder ghosted into the PSG penalty area and collected a decent slide rule pass. Camus managed to get a snapshot away but Trapp was equal to it and able to turn it around the post for a corner.
7' The Brazilian centre back partnership of David Luiz and Thiago Silva are seeing plenty of the ball early on and they are given license to spray it around. Di Maria and Moura are hugging the touchline and are looking to make the pitch as wide as possible.
5' PSG already seem to have a strangehold on this game and the pattern of the match is set. Troyes will let the home side have plenty of the ball and only press their opponents in the final third. The visitors have looked to break on the counter attack when they can but those opportunities have been few and far between so far.
3' SAVE! And it is a very good one from Bernardoni to deny Cavani from close range. Di Maria had raced to the byline and put in a teasing cross which was met well by the head of Cavani. Excellent reflexes from the Troyes goalkeeper there.
2' Troyes then catch Cavani offside just inside their own half. They want to play a very high line which could prove to be a very risky strategy against the pace of Di Maria and Moura.
1' Troyes are in an all white strip while PSG wear their traditional dark blue kit. Ibrahimovic immediately tries to get in behind the defence but is flagged offside.
And we are underway! Troyes get the match started.
The big screens in the stadium have shown some moving tributes to the victims of the Paris attacks and this is followed by a rousing rendition of the national anthem. Kick off is just a couple of minutes away and will be proceeded by a minute of silent remembrance.
PSG are already 13 points clear at the top of the league and are going in search of the title once again, it would be their fourth championship in a row if they can maintain their current form. The side from Paris have begun this campaign in terrific form, they have been victorious in 12 of their 14 league matches. As was the case against Malmo on Wednesday, the PSG players are wearing shirts with 'Je Suis Paris' on them rather than their usual sponsor.
The Parc des Princes is awash with fans proudly and defiantly waving the French tricolore. There is quite an atmosphere building as kick off approaches. There will be no away supporters in the stadium today as visiting fans have been banned from attending football matches until the middle of December as a result of the Paris attacks a couple of weeks ago.
Troyes subs: Dreyer, Dabo, Court, Thiago Xavier, Cabot, Karaboue and Othon.
PSG subs: Sirigu, Marquinhos, Motta, Matuidi, Maxwell, Augustin and Ogenda.
Troyes XI (4-2-3-1): Bernardoni; Martins Pereira, Martial, Saunier, Mavinga; Ayasse, Pi; Darbion, Nivet (c), Camus; Jean.
PSG XI (4-2-3-1): Trapp; van der Wiel, Silva (c), Luiz, Kurzawa; Stambouli, Rabiot; di Maria, Cavani, Moura; Ibrahimovic.
The team news is in and we'll start with PSG...
This will no doubt be an emotional occasion for the home side as it is their first match in the French capital since the horrific terrorist attacks a couple of weeks ago. PSG come into this match on the back of a thumping 5-0 midweek win away at Malmo in the Champions League. Last time out the Parisians defeated Lorient 2-1 away from home. As for their opponents Troyes, they are winless in Ligue 1 and sit rooted to foot of the table making a visit to the reigning champions all the more daunting.
Good afternoon and welcome to this live text commentary for the Ligue 1 clash between PSG and Troyes here at the Parc des Princes.
