1st Phase:

Format:

8 teams, distributed into 2 groups of 4 teams each (groups A and B).

Each team plays the all the teams from the other group once - for a total of 4 games each, over 4 game weeks.



Scoring points:

3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.



Table order:

1. points won; 2. games won; 3. total goal difference; 4. total goals scored; 5. lesser number of goals conceded; 6. points in head-to-head matches; 7. games won in hth matches; 8. goal difference in hth matches; 9. draw.



Qualification for the Final Stages:

1-2 place of each group: qualify for the Final Stages

Format:

4 teams from the 1st Phase contest the 1st Phase winner in a knockout format.



Semi-finals:

Teams are paired according to their 1st Phase standings:

1st in Group A vs 2nd in Group A;

1st in Group B vs 2nd in Group B.

Winners are decided over one leg, with penalties if score is level after regular time.

The teams with higher 1st Phase placing are hosts.



Final:

The two Semi-finals winners meet each other with the winner becoming 1st Phase winner.

Winner is decided over one leg, with penalties if score is level after regular time.

The team with higher 1st Phase placing is host, if both teams have the same 1st Phase placing, the team with better 1st Phase record is host.

2nd Phase:

Format:

8 teams, distributed into 2 groups of 4 teams each (groups A and B), with groups unchanged compared to the 1st Phase.

Each team plays the all the teams from its own group once - for a total of 3 games each, over 3 game weeks.



Scoring points:

3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.



Table order:

1. points won; 2. games won; 3. total goal difference; 4. total goals scored; 5. lesser number of goals conceded; 6. points in head-to-head matches; 7. games won in hth matches; 8. goal difference in hth matches; 9. draw.



Qualification for the Final Stages:

1-2 place of each group: qualify for the Final Stages



Relegation from the league:

The team's records from the 1st Phase and 2nd Phase (a total of 7 games each) are combined into a Summary Table.

8 place in the Summary Table: relegated to Segunda Divisão



Promotion to the league:

1 team from Segunda Divisão

4 teams from the 1st Phase contest the 2nd Phase winner in a knockout format.

Championship Final:

Format:

2 teams contest the Acreano champion in a knockout format.

If one team wins both the 1st Phase and the 2nd Phase, then it is automatically declared the Acreano champion and no Championship Final is played.



Final:

The two winners meet each other with the winner becoming Acreano champion.

Winner is decided over two legs.

The team with better 1st and 2nd Phase record combined hosts the second leg.



Tie-breakers for the knockout matches over two legs:

1. aggregate score from the two legs, 2. penalties.



Qualification for Serie D:

1-2 place: qualify for Serie D

* - if the champion is participating in Serie A, Serie B, Serie C or Serie D, the best placed team that isn't already assured participation in Serie a, Serie B, Serie C or Serie D qualifies instead.



Qualification for Copa do Brasil:

champion: qualifies for Copa do Brasil

losing finalist: qualifies for Copa do Brasil
