Giants ease past Broncos, Hull beat Bulls

Huddersfield Giants dispatched the London Broncos 34-6 in the Super League on Sunday, as Hull FC and St Helens also won.

Shaun Lunt bagged a brace of tries for Huddersfield in the match at the Galpharm Stadium, where Eorl Crabtree, Brett Ferrers, Joe Wardle and Craig Kopczak all crossed for singles.

Danny Brough converted five from six attempts, with the Broncos only able to muster one Shane Rodney try - converted by Shane Grady - in response.

Elsewhere, Daniel Holdsworth scored one try and kicked eight points as his Hull team saw off the Bradford Bulls 28-12 at the KC Stadium.

St Helens edged Widnes Vikings 16-4 a low-scoring encounter the Stobart Stadium, Francis Meli crossing twice for the visitors.

Lee Gaskell notched the other try for St Helens, and converted two to secure the points, with Stefan Marsh's lone try the only time Widnes troubled the scorers.

Finally, Castleford Tigers needed a 78th-minute goal from Jamie Ellis to see off the visiting Leeds Rhinos 14-12.
