Tipsarevic rues crucial points

Serbian Janko Tipsarevic regrets not making the most of his chances in his loss to compatriot Novak Djokovic in Dubai on Thursday.
The world number one defeated Tipsarevic 6-1 7-6 (8-6) in the quarter-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships.
Tipsarevic felt he should have won the second set tie-breaker, and lamented rushing at a crucial point to allow Djokovic in.
"The first set was obviously not good enough," Tipsarevic, the world number nine, said.
"It's disappointing not to win a set today especially because of the way I lost it."
"My first serve was not present for the first 30 minutes of the match. In the second set I played better and survived a couple of tough games."
"I played a good tiebreak and made a good opportunity for myself and for no particular reason I decided to race the second serve instead of just playing the point, which I regret right now. I don't know if I would have won, but I felt I should have won the second set."
Despite the defeat, Tipsarevic remained upbeat about his form in 2012.
"I've been playing well," he said.
"I didn't make any extraordinary results since the beginning of the year, but I've been pretty consistent and solid. There are two major events (Indian Wells and Miami) coming up and I hope I can play well."
