The Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs enjoyed big wins as LeBron James inspired NBA champions the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Golden State responded from their loss on Monday with a 109-86 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
The Spurs put the Orlando Magic to the sword, easing to a 107-79 win on Wednesday.
James scored 31 points in Cleveland's 113-104 victory at home to the Indiana Pacers.
THOMPSON GETS WARRIORS BACK ON TRACK
The Warriors went down to the Denver Nuggets last time out but there was no repeat of that performance on Wednesday.
Klay Thompson played a key role in avoiding back-to-back defeats courtesy of his 35 points.
Kevin Durant posted 21 points.
ALDRIDGE, LEONARD CRUSH MAGIC
LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard benefited against a short-handed Magic team in Orlando.
Aldridge put up a game-high 23 points and Leonard scored 22 points in the win over the Magic, who were without Serge Ibaka after he was traded to the Toronto Raptors.
CAVS STAY HOT
Heading into the All-Star break, the Cavaliers are in form.
A big performance from James and Kyrie Irving's 26 points guided Eastern Conference leaders the Cavs to their seventh win in eight games.
Kyle Korver made six three-pointers for the hosts as the Pacers crashed to a fifth consecutive defeat.
WESTBROOK SCORES TRIPLE-DOUBLE
The Oklahoma City Thunder benefited from another Russell Westbrook triple-double as they triumphed 116-105 against the New York Knicks.
All-Star Westbrook had 38 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists for his 27th triple-double of the season and 64th of his career.
BOUCHARD ENJOYS NETS GAME WITH TWITTER DATE
Tennis star Eugenie Bouchard stayed true to her word after losing a Super Bowl bet on Twitter, meeting up with 20-year-old university student John Goehrke on Wednesday.
The pair were in attendance at Barclays Center as the Brooklyn Nets lost 129-125 to the Milwaukee Bucks.
HEAT, RAPTORS WIN
