Siena, Olympiacos post Euroleague wins

Montepaschi Siena joined FC Barcelona Regal at the top of Euroleague Group F after an 85-74 win against Caja Laboral Vitoria.

League-leading scorer Bobby Brown stayed true to form, netting a game-high 18 points Siena, who improved to a 6-1 record at the halfway mark of the Top 16.

The Italian outfit now only trail Barca by points difference in the standings.

The loss is Spanish side Caja Laboral's third in a row, leaving them with a 4-3 record and in fourth place.

Olympiacos Piraeus also boast a 4-3 record after recording a vital win on the road with an 87-82 victory over Khimki Moscow.

Kyle Hines and Vassilis Spanoulis each scored a game-high 19 points in the Russian capital as the visitors came back from an eight-point half-time deficit to claim victory.

Khimki, also with a 4-3 record, retain third place by account of superior points difference to Olympiacos and Caja Laboral.

In the group's other match, Fenerbahce Ulker saw off Turkish rivals Besiktas JK 78-72 in the Istanbul derby.

Croatian guard Bojan Bogdanovic netted a game-high 25 points for the victors, who inflicted a seventh straight defeat on Besiktas.

Fenerbahce move to a 2-5 record and within one game of fourth spot, while Besiktas stay winless in the Top 16.
