28 January 2013 05:29

The NFC All Stars scored six touchdowns to two in the second and third quarters to claim the NFL's Pro Bowl 62-35 over the AFC All Stars.

Seattle Seahawks rookie quarterback Russell Wilson threw three for touchdowns in the third quarter on Sunday to take the NFC from a 38-14 lead to 52-21, setting up his conference's fourth victory in six years in the annual All-Star game.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver AJ Green was the star for the AFC side with three touchdowns, including catching a 49-yard pass from Indianapolis Colts' quarterback Andrew Luck to complete the scoring in his team's 27-point defeat.

The AFC All Stars opened the scoring early in the first quarter when Green caught Peyton Manning's throw but the scores were level at 7-7 by the end of the opening term thanks to Drew Brees' 36-yard pass to Vincent Jackson.

From there the NFC All Stars dominated, scoring 45 of the next 69 points to take a 31-point lead into the final quarter.

Wilson took control in the third quarter, throwing touchdown passes to Doug Martin, Larry Fitzgerald and Jackson.

The AFC scored two touchdowns to one in the fourth term thanks to Green but it was not enough as the NFC completed a comfortable win.
